We maybe good in futsal for one or two Olympics, but in about ten years, we will struggle again against Japan and Korea. We already have tough time against Japan. Korea can catch up too.

I think Japan will win against Korea. I prefer Iraq to win because of many problems they have had in their country.

like i said in the other thread, at roots, it boils down to dropping serious $$$s to building and organizing our football from the ground up, by infusion of quality, high$ foreign coaches and football organizers....!!
both Japan and Korea dropped serious $$s in the run up to co-hosting 2002 world cup and some years afterwards and their football programs took off to the pinnacle of Asian football leaving us in dust, for most part chasing their shadows..!!
many piss-ant arab countries followed suit afterwards and although they face sever domestic talent drought and passion for the game in general, even goozoo countries like Gutter n UAE will eventually out-perform us, if the levels of inve$tments between us continue as its been.!

look what happened to Club football after was it Roman Abramovich ?started the Big money investment in Chelsea, dropping big bucks and hoarding most of the top footballer of the time..!! only a handful or so other Elite clubs were able to follow suit matching their funds and offers for elite players and now they just share the spoils between them pretty much every freaking year..!!
IFF couldnt even afford a real coach for our Omid and had to give it to a rookie, ex player turned coach, who had near zilch coaching experience and didnt even have the necessary coaching credentials to sit on our bench during the tourney w/o some back channeling ..!

They're not through yet. Plus they made it before, 1992 off the top of my head where UAE lost to them on purpose on the last day so they could eliminate Iran. qatar had beaten UAE 2-1 in qatar but suddenly on the last day, needing a win to leapfrog over us, UAE lost 2-0 at home to them.
