I think he is under pressure to play Kanani. He feel confortable with Daneshgat _ Cheshmi , so he replaced Abdollahzadh.

Reasons for the loss to Qatar:

1. Khakpour said yesterday, that he has watched Qatar and is very familiar with how they play! That was b.s. because he had absolutely no idea how Qatar plays.
2. Technically Iran was superior, but the game is always decided on tactics and there Iran lost with big margin.
3. Under performing players like Karimi whose mistake cost the team the first goal, and the right winger (forget his name) who couldn't control a simple pass.
4. Why Khakpour preferred Mohammadi over Torabi is a big mystery. He was the main source of excitement on the left and created so many chances. Mehrdad did nothing!

Iran may have better individual play (although the gap in that category is also rapidly closing btw Iran and other teams), however Qatar was the MUCH MUCH better Team today.

Understand the difference btw Individual play ( Dribble, YE PAA DO PAAA etc) and TEAM FOOTball.
Those are 2 different things.
