Cheating needs to be defined. America cheats with its sophisticated medical doping of players that present samplings cannot catch it. Qatar cheats by buying players. Iraq may cheat by over age players. Didn't Iran disqualify once because of this?
Iraqi's showed fighting spirit and wanting to win. Watch how minutes they ran. I preferred Iraq to win because of Iraq being in shitty situation due to Americans taking a dump there through ISIS. Iraq has only football to bring joey to its people. Iran has other sports.
In my view, Iran should invest and promote the other sports that Iranians are winning medals and do not focus so much time and energy on football.

They don't even deny it. They were celebrating our downfall throughout their forums on a daily basis and yet we have fools like yourself selling out their country and aiming to "piss off" other Iranians.

AIraqi and Gucci10, your post is true if they didn't cheat. But they did.

And we are far superior to Iraqi football in every level, including youth cause they cheat so blatantly - so they should focus on other sports .

What an achievement that we are superior against Iraqi football in every level, the country is war torn since 2003, we could be proud of ourselves

With this mentality we will reach nothing, why people here are so obsessed with Iraq :S Too much spare time ?

Read my comments before being disrespectful.

If they were over-aged players, AFC failed in catching it. The AFC sampling was not good enough. Syrians had bald players, so were they over-aged of 23?

AFC also should do more sampling/tests if your contentions are true. This is a cheap way to criticize Iraqi players. They played with lots of fighting spirits without a foreign coach that several PFDC members are promoting.

As long as PFDC members resort to profanity rather than focusing on reality, these discussions become worthless.

Guess cheating really does pay off...

I can understand why they cheat and want to be in places that are farthest from Baghdad.

Are you actually now believing these dudes are not overage? Almost all of these players turned "pro" at 15 years old with pro clubs, already have huge numbers of senior caps at 19-22 years old Their striker who is also part of Iraq's nt for example is 26 years old this year

Leave that AFC test crap aside, they cheat most of their players ages and of course are always more successful in youth tournaments, but 2nd-3rd tier in Asia at best outside. One of their midfielders has 40-50 senior NT caps at 19 years old, do you really believe they are their own ages despite how blatant this is? Either they are really crap and have to play these "younger" dudes because they have nothing better, or they are simply cheating their ages

So a blog post from a iraqi blog is proof that they cheated this year. Mashalla thats not proof. We had proof of them cheating in the Asian Cup but this aint cheating and you guys have no proof sorry. Case closed.

                Your logic is crap.

The losing team should complain or to have the test(s) over. AFC should have caught over aged players. Period.

If someone cheats, you blame the player or the system that let him cheat? Useless discussions.

A reminder of who Iraqi's actually are

"Swords of Qādisīyah، and Hands of Victory in some Western sources, are a pair of triumphal arches in central Baghdad, Iraq. Each arch consists of a pair of hands holding crossed swords. The two arches mark the two entrances to Great Celebrations square and the parade ground constructed to commemorate the Iran-Iraq war, led by then Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

The arms rest on concrete plinths, the form of which make the arms appear to burst up out of the ground. Each plinth holds 2,500 helmets which, Saddam claimed, belonged to Iranian soldiers killed during the war; they are held in nets which spill them onto the ground beneath."

                  The helmets

This is the kind of shit they do. Buildings monuments and taking pride in a war they started. The monument is still there by the way. even though we give these people billions, they don't have the deceny to destory these shamful monuments. These people are not above cheating.

The blame should NOT fall on Iraqis alone for destruction of their country. There are people or countries that benefit or make money from these destructions including France and other western countries.

Similar to MKO and other opposition Iranian groups who bad mouth Iran and Iranians, Iraqis also have opposition groups.

The fault is on AFC for not catching the cheaters, not Iraqi players.

Your argument is crap and you are too gullible. If you actually believe these dudes are really U23 then I can't do anything for you, and not one or two of them is overage, most of them are. Heck some of these players are even on their 2nd Olympic qualifiers At the end it's their loss, look at the state of their senior NT, they are average at best and 2nd/3rd tier Asians

Another irritating tournament after the Asian Cup. We deserve more. The Iraqis are achieving more than what they deserve. So frustrating.

Yeah, west made Saddam wage a second "Qaddisyeh". Yup, sure did. (That's sarcasm, by the way)

Among ME arab nations, only Lebanon has been somewhat of a friend to us. At least they don't build anti-Iranian monuments.

I agree with your point about how Iraqis are. But you must not blame them alone. Over ONE MILLION Iranians visit Iraq every year. Iranian government also to blame to spend millions of dollars on renovating religious cites in Iraq.

This thread was about U23 not war.

Fvcking loser mentality in this forum. Iraq at their main team is terrible, they're not even in our league, we don't need to make hundreds of posta saying Iraq this, Iraq that.

Now I'm not saying they haven't cheated, but sitting here complaining all the time makes us look really bad and makes it seem like we have a losers mentality.
