Mehrdad Mohammadi is number 23 as well in Rah Ahan, he basically never plays on the wing which is the position Milad was playing today, and whenever Mehrdad plays Motahari is on the bench as they are both strikers.Team Meli Iran

Malavan Bandar Anzali

But most importantly, Khiabani's always wrong, so if he says Milad, chance would have been that it was Mehrdad!

The good news is that the team is looking much better than the Asian Games not too long ago where we had fallen to a low point. Unfortunately - and this is where Hashemian's words ring in my ear - there is no distinct style to this team. We have a myriad of highly technical and creative players but overall, there's no 'real' Iranian philosophy in the way you see with the likes of Korea, Japan, Italy, Germany, or Spain. Whether you support the employed methods or not, at the very least, the senior team has developed their own identity in the past 3 years; one that has become very effective. We'll just have to take it one step at a time.Last edited by K. Nader; 01-12-2016, 11:54 AM.
