Believe me he would have an easier time making the TM squad than any team in Iran for the sole reason that TM is the most structured squad we have in Iran. Look Im not here to campaign for the guy. All I said was that he is young and if he can prove to have certain quality which we lack at the moment, he might be able to still be on the radar. Thats all! Sharmande. I made a mistake with Thailand and The Philippines. Like you said "meyle khodet". Everyone will have a different philosophy when it comes to putting a squad together. I for one would like to work with those brought up in the structural youth system and you would prefer khiabooni players more. No one can really say who's right and who's wrong here.
Btw. Im sure he could've found himself elsewhere to play rather than the Philippines. Im sure him being have filipino might've had a factor to play their. Anyways all the best to him and hopefully we'll hear more good stuff to come from him in the future.

I would like to see a game between the khiaboonies (azmoun, jb, ezzatolahi, torabi, taremi, ghafouri, ando, ebrahimi, amiri, milad mohammadi etc) and the current crop of structured players (nazari bros, couple lower league swedish guys and some who will play in first divison this year, 4/5th divison germany etc). I wonder what the score would be...

We can say all we want about Nazari, but the fact of the matter is that when he played for TM he did just as well as Ebrahimi and others (obviously excluding Nekou and Ando).

Saying he wasn't good enough for Foolad might be right, but it could very well be wrong. If PGL wasn't a league full of politics and dalal baazi I would fully agree with Z Joon, but the fact that we are talking about the PGL means that there could be other reasons for his exclusion. Remember, as soon as the foreign coach left Steel Azin, a guy like Ferydoon Zandi saw less and less field time and was eventually cut. Our league does not really have clean hands.

AT Jan, let's be logical 2 seconds here. Why should Skocic be impressed and offer a contract to players from all nationalities and backgrounds from Kouemaha, Chago, Mesaric, Bayrami, Nong, Padovani, Chimba etc... etc... If it was a shady domestic coach alright, but let's not be unnecessarily all controversy-loving now. Omid Nazari wasn't good enough for Foolad who's fighting relegation right now, might be hard for some to digest but that's just a fact. Not because he preferred burgers over joojeh kabab.
