Let me just make it clear since clearly you guys are still at lost with what I'm saying. Unfortunately right now we just don't have enough talent in the structured football system for us to compare our players. However if in the future we can create more players like the likes of Gucci and Dejagha than I will guarantee you we will have a better chance at winning it all with those players than those we have coming up in the streets. Sadly though we probably well never have enough players in our pool for it to consist just of those players but however the more players we can produce at higher levels in those systems the better we will be as a unit. Technical aspects of a player is just one of the key components of a good player. Our players lack severely in the other departments and that has shown to be a huge achilles heel for a National representers at all levels of competitions. Simple as that.

You can be sure that CQ or any coach leading TM won't start dropping the Kanaanis, Torabis and Taremis for 2nd division Swedish players and Philippines league players just because you think they are "khiaboonis", thankfully. If we start listening to your reasoning our team will look like Afghanistan's national team with bunch of "structured" 4th division german and 2nd division european players.

We will always continue producing players of the caliber of Gucci and Dejagah because we always did so, don't worry "khiaboonis" like Azmoun, Jahanbakhsh, Ezzatollahi coming from the streets of Iran will most likely have 10 times the career Gucci has had, and it will even get better for the players after them shaq nakon doost-e aziz.

TM is for the best Iranian players and will continue to stay this way We will always use the best players from our national pool and most of these dudes are indeed khiaboonis

If it was a shady domestic coach alright, but let's not be unnecessarily all controversy-loving now. Omid Nazari wasn't good enough for Foolad who's fighting relegation right now, might be hard for some to digest but that's just a fact. Not because he preferred burgers over joojeh kabab.
He's not a gem who deserves to play in Bundesliga, which makes the fact that he was rejected by a bottom IPL team shocking. No, his level is shown in his current career path, he comes out of a 2nd Swedish division team and is currently playing for a Philipines league team, it speaks for itself. I can't see him start in any of the current IPL teams anyways, let alone make TM
Fair enough, but again we are talking about the PGL. Whether Skocic was impressed with Nazari or not can be a moot point if people behind the curtains want to do something different. I'm not sure if you've heard a lot of these stories, but some things you hear about players being prevented/brought to our league really makes me wish my heart wasn't so attached to Iranian football.

Again, I could be way off here. But we can't say with 100% certainty that Nazari was rejected from Foolad solely based on footballing calibre, especially in a league like ours. The fact that our league has many dirty figures behind every single team is not controversy, its just reality (unfortunately).

Honestly i think this guy doesnt deserve to come anywhere close to TM considering he is playing in the Filipino league and we blast players like Pouraliganji for going to qatar and say they shouldn't be allowed on TM. qatar is trillion times better than fillipino league. Although you are correct in regards to Afghanistan. I have never understood why iranians are such assholes to them our cultures are so similar...

This argument seems to come up every few weeks. There should be a rule against it. Some people support the idea of importing players, others don't. Nothing is a lock in this world. I agree that the likes of Azmoun, JB and Ezatollahi would crush a team of the players in Sweden, but we can not truly know, as it's a hypothetical.

I'm fairly confident that our current homegrown players would win by a decent margin against the Iranians abroad in a game 9/10, but we should let people have their opinions. Nazari wasn't a horrible player, he was average. Maybe we can test him again if his career improves, but we shouldn't be bickering about this. At the moment, Nazari isn't deserving of a call-up. Doesn't mean it was a mistake to call him up back then. I hope that people will stop looking at everything so black and white though. I would argue Gucci has done more for our TM, despite being a more relative unknown compared to Bundesliga winner Dejagah. Gucci was a player who ran under radars for a long time, and there are some players abroad who may be helpful to TM like Gucci was on the road to Brazil.

My point is, stop bickering about Nazari. He is an average player, and he did okay when he played for us. I say we pat him on the back for proudly wearing our national team jersey, and not argue about whether he is this or that. At the moment, there is zero chance of his call-up, so it's a non-issue. Don't think about other players in Europe who haven't been tested yet as automatically Dejagah's or automatically Nazaris. We should give people a chance in camps, as CQ has frequently done, and see where it goes. I wouldn't advocate inviting Omid to an upcoming camp, as he has not been playing well, but I would 100% invite some of the other players like that guy in Swedish 1st division (forgot his name) to be tested in a camp. If Ebrahimi and Ezatollahi smoke him in practice, he'll be released back into the wild like CQ did with Nazari, if he surprises, he could be an important piece of our path to Russia. We won't know until we try.

If our home grown players played our players abroad heres what the result would be.
First Pooladi would run into the GK and then flop resulting in a red card for the Home grown players. Then Sh.Rezaei and Nosrati would be fingering each others asses while Gucci and Alex Samizedeh Soorakh their defence. result 6-0 Abroad players.

                  I can't believe what I am reading..

Because Omid impressed some people years ago in the WAFF, people want him to be called up to TM?? The dude went from playing for Malmö, to a second division team in Sweden, to an amateur level(!!) team in Sweden, to the Filipino league.. And people bring up Dejagah and Gucci as comparisons!? Dejagah won the Bundesliga at the age of 22, Gucci was scoring goals right and left and going to Belgium.. We have players like Beitashour and Davari who play in decent leagues in decent teams who are not getting called up to TM, yet people seem to want a player who played amateur football last year and now plays in the Filipino league in TM!? This is a new low, even for PFDC lol..

and big lol @ blaming him not being signed by Foolad on all random things..

I don't think he should be in TM right now. All I am saying is that when he played for TM he was nothing less than his other alternatives besides Nekou/Ando.

Also, if you were familiar with some of the reasons/methods that some players are signed (or not signed) to a club in Iran, you wouldn't think it is a big lol. I recommend not researching it, because all it will do is sully Iranian football's image for you (it definitely did for me).
