Atashkadehs goal @ mins 2:10. Nice header to take all 3 points:

              Post match interview with Atashkadeh:

"Atashkadeh disappointed with the match winner: "So we can not do"

ÖIS William Atashkadeh broke his målnolla in Superettan 2017 and will celebrate Easter as a series of four. Despite the striker was noticeably disappointed after the game. - It is sad that we invite them needlessly. Had we run on, we had made three or four goals, he says.

With a courteous nod in the next open GOAL decided William Atashkadeh Örgrytes Friday clash with Atvidaberg. His first goal of the season finished off a well-played along with the right - and was welcomed for a half of Örgrytes vital duo at the front.

              - It's always good to score early. It was nice that it came and to get to decide. Hopefully it will more and more now, he says.

But despite zero in the target column now been replaced by a one and Örgryte now have as many points as the series leader Värnamo Atashkadeh was far from happy with the team's performance at Gamla Ullevi.

              - We come out and score right away in the second half but play poorly the rest of the game then. It is sad that we invite them needlessly. Had we run on, we had made three or four goals. From that they do not have anything that we back home and let them hit far, he says.

Örgryte - and Atashkadeh himself - had bid for more goals. A few neutrals, most bortslarvade counterattack opportunities and the lob position from the center circle for the right Atashkadeh could have been managed better.

              - If only we had played a little straighter and took advantage of the last passing game I had and Elmander could do something to. The valves are not really in the final third. We have to find a game idea that we go after, say Atashkadeh and continues:

              - It comes off immediately after the goal. We must talk about. So we can not do. We can not go down and defend just because we scored.

You sound disappointed even though you won?

              - Yes it's me. I'm not happy with our second half."

After scoring in Falkenbergs 1-1 draw last week, Amin Nazari followed up by being red-carded (2 Yellows) in todays match which Falkenberg lost 2-1 to Gais:

"When Amin Nazari also received his second yellow card in the 82nd minute and the home side were forced to finish the game with ten men got up the hill even heavier for last year's Allsvenskan last. "

Atashkadeh started for Orgryte in their derby against GAIS today.

*Atashkadeh received a bizarre red card on the 29th min after disputing.

You can read the post-match interview with him below:

"Öis crazy after the red card, "Sickest I have experienced"

William Atashkadeh tried to shoot 1-0 to Öis the derby.
It ended with a red card for the striker.
                  - I wanted to cry and laugh at the same time. It was the craziest thing I experienced as a footballer, he says.

It was in the first half of Martin Mutumba was trying to find its way to teammate William Atashkadeh in Gothenburg derby between Örgryte and GAIS in the Superettan. Atashkadeh did not reach the ball completely Gais Alexander Leksell intervened.

Atashkadeh discovered not Leksell and was fulfilling his shot motion. He met instead of the ball Leksell of the leg - which made the head judge Robert Daradic blowing free kick.

He contented himself however with it, but turned out Atashkadeh directly.

Sebastian Carlsén protested so strongly that he was given a yellow card - and OIS coach Marcus Lantz reaction gave him a place in the stands.

                  - I asked, "Wille" why he went out. He did not know. He tried to hit the ball into the open goal and he went out of it. I have never seen anything worse, says Lantz at Soccer Channel.

Why did you go up in the stands?
                  - I questioned it. Then he said: "You have protested enough, now you go up in the stands." I have never experienced anything worse.

                  What about judgments bet?
                  - He has lost it completely. It's boring. There are many people here, we want a football party and so destroy the judge throughout the event. Here are people who pay lots of money to see a game and they are a gentleman ... He destroys the whole match.

After the game trying William Atashkadeh verbalize their feelings about the expulsion:

                  - What should I say?

                  He sighs.

                  - It's boring. They had loaded and looking forward to this game so much and he destroys it for me. He destroys everything for everyone.

                  - The sick is that I have two yellow cards. When he blows think: "But I do not get a yellow for now I do not want to be off to Falkenberg in the next game." It's the only thing I think about. Then I hear the whole damn stadium screaming. I look back and see that he keeps in a red card. I collapse. I lose all the power that I'm in a place like shock.

                  Did you Leksell come?
                  - I'm forward. I have focused on the goal. The only thing I want is to hit the ball as fast as possible before someone catches up with me. Does he think that I have eyes in the back? I can not finish a pendant in the middle of the move. Game The understanding was not today.

Is there any hope that you will not have to shutdown?
                  - I hope that humanity rescue me. I have never been expelled and that it would be this way. Okay, if I box someone in the face, but I'll be sent off to try to score. It is a scandal.

Even Gais-quarters felt that the red card was questionable. Alexander Leksell:

                  - I was in pain and remained little. Then I looked up, saw a red card and thought, "Wow."

You did not think it was going to be red?
                  - No, not really. I came out in front, grabbed the ball and he kicked me. But I do not think he saw me. He just wanted to finish.

Judge Robert Daradic was one of the last to leave the Gamla Ullevi. He commented on the red card in the following way:

                  - At that moment, I considered that he compromised the player's safety. Serious foul play. Gais player comes before the OIS player and hit the ball. OIS player kicks from behind, he said.

Have you seen the situation in retrospect?
                  - No, I have not seen it yet.

If you stand firm in your decision now?
                  - Yes, I stand by it here and now. I will, as we always do, go home and check on the situation.

You feel no hesitation about the situation?
                  - I made a judgment there and then from that angle, then I get home and analyze.

How will you report the red card?
                  - There will be a matchs shut off automatically because it is rough expulsion. Then I'm going to report it for serious foul play.

                  He adds, however:

                  - Is there an obvious wrong decision, I will of course include it in the report. Then when I was there, I made an evaluation. That's what I get to go on.

How did you experience the game otherwise?
                  - In addition to the situation, I thought they did well considering that it is a derby. There are feelings of both teams, but none that I knew began to escalate.

The derby between Örgryte and GAIS ended 0-0."

I don't really get the point of updates from the 2nd tier Swedish league tbh. We have a plethora of legionnaires & Iran doesn't need players from subpar leagues like Superattan...

Definitely not a red card. He wasn't completely off the ground and it's obviously the player he fouled came from his blindside. Yellow card at the most. I would appeal it but I don't know what the Swedish FA is like in terms of supporting referee decisions.

You are right, but the reason me and other members follow them is not that we think they are TM material, rather we enjoy seeing Iranians succeed in whatever division and in whatever country they play in.

Unfortunately, the Swedish FA concluded that Atashkadeh's red was justified:
