who's to blame and what to do for our youth football's underachievement?

Let's forget about the Arabs for a minute and focus on our own country.

4 World Cup appearances, 12 matches, and only 1 win.

That's is ridiculous for a football-mad country like IRAN.

And All this start from the foundations of our football - Youth development.

What have we done differently in youth development since we first qualified for a World Cup in 1978.

Have we created any stretegies or plans to improve our youth development?

Do we have a philosophy that all the youth teams follow?

      4 WC appearances, 12 matches, not 16.

Yeah, we have 11.1% win percantage in WC. Kinda sad considering the other 3. We need to step shit up.

Anyways I don't care about Iraq, they're garbage at football anyways.
They're pretty much garbage at everything.

That's not the only reason we should despise them. Their fans OVERJOY when we lose or whatever. They act two-faced.

That game was just icing on the cake for everyone to see how much they hateus

I think you have miscalculated. We have 1 win and 3 ties in 12 games. That's a 20.8% win percentage.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Especially not letting anyone waltz in and take over their joke of a country.

Pardon me of my ignorance but can anyone tell me if we even have a youth league or not? If so, which clubs are the most successfull in youth level (except Foolad)? There is nothing about it on soccerway in contrary to SA, UAE and Qatar's youth leagues

^ we do have an Omid league. Where fouled are leading the table, followed by sepahan.
But IFF hardly invests or pays much attention to it.
These teams would be the feeders to the IPL clubs in a normal situation. But as we see with almost all high profile clubs in IPL, mordeh-khori is the most prevalent strategy!
Therefore most of the young lads get ignored and wasted, each season.

At the same time IFF also doesn't gather them into a team to nurture and prepare for the next big tournament. So except the very few who get enrolled into proper IPL clubs, the rest get scattered across Iran, ignored and forgotten.

Right now, IFF must show a proper strategy and planning for our U19 team. To keep them together and prepare them for the next 2-3 years where they enter what I can only presume would be a U22 world cup now that Olympics have dropped football.
But is the IFF doing this? No.
The present U19 will be formed, dropped, changed, re-formed again, dropped, .... again and again with NO CONTINUITY till the last possible moment for major U22 tournament!!

                          doostan,
                          Iran is a sick country.
Society is sick, people are sick....
Islamic laws have taken our nation back to 1500 years ago...
Corruption is the rule of land
Cheating is a required fact of life to get ahead.
The country is in the hands of a group of terrorists who rule with and iron fist....
our football is no different from the above laws.
our football SONATEE coaches are our worse enemy today. Vezarat-e Varzesh is in the hands of backward, uneducated HAMAAL like Godarzi and Sajadi who put the likes of Mayeli Kodan in charge of our Olympic team...and the results are evident.
As long as these people are in charge and as long as KHA'EN such as Lompan Jalali, Cheraghpour, Sajadi, Goodarzi, Derakhshan, Gale Noie, Mayeli Aldang are in charge....
This circle will continue....and continue and continue.....

What's the story behind the spitting incident? I tried googling it but came up empty handed.
