England's a different case. But China doesn't have a world class league to be flooded with foreign players. It's to every Asian country's advantage to have foreign players to boost their level.

It didn't work in the NASL, it didn't work in Saudi, UAE, or anywhere else that brings in B level players for tons of money.
I think we can all agree the difference is made in youth development. If you spend that money on talented young players you will get a much better return.
