There are two sides of this story. First, I find it very strange that he ended up in a rock bottom 2nd division from Portugal while we were kept warm with the promise of him signing for a club like Vitoria Setubal who are a decent team.

Secondly, I still prefer these kind of transfers to any Qatar move. Karamolachaab has my respect much more than Pouraliganji already, good on him that he wants to work his way up in Europe. At least he will try it, we should fully support him. He wants to develop in an European environment.

I never get this excuse that i want play in second division to get more playing time, if you are good enough and play for youth level team you will find your way up for first team of first division team also, this team is in relegation zone and whole team struggling. How he will develop to better player in such environment? We had couple other players who played in Portugal second division in past and it was total failure, hope is not the case for this kid which seems to be talented really.
When i think of all that and where our players were 20 years a go it makes me feel sad really, no player in top 4 European league and we get really excited if one if transferred to a mid table Russian, Holland, Portugal,Greece teams or even second division in these country.
Back to time our bench players in TM used to play in Bundesliga II and would get no attention because we had like Bagheri, Daei, Azizi, etc playing in high level of European football.
Sad indeed.

Yeah let's be honest. he didn't even make it to the under 23 squad for that last tournament.

He has barely played in the IPL which we all consider to be bust.

Going to Vitoria Setúbal means he will get no game time.

Unless if he is an exceptional talent, he won't see a minute in that first team for at least 1-2 years.

Ezzatollahi was 16 and already more advanced in his career, had more minutes in the league despite his very young age and broke into a better team than Chaab who couldn't find play time in Naft Masjed.

He is still only 18 remember, he can have 2-3 good years in this league (of course if the team doesn't hopefully relegate that is ) to show himself and then find a 1st division team to continue from there, I see him as much more promising than guys like Taha Zareei or Esmaeilzadeh so I'm pretty confident that he can make something of this experience.

He seems to be a better talent that is why i was expecting a better club for him, at least a better team in second division.

Very sad to see so many Iranian players sell their souls to play in Qatari league. I'd much rather have players in the second division of European team than Qatar. Especially young, promising players like Karamolachaab and Pouraliganji. Obviously, Vitoria Setubal or Sporting would have been ideal, but this is much better move than Al-Sadd or Al-Arabi.

Keep in mind hes born 97 so actually this is still his last season in youth football, this guy already plays senior football and moved to a respectable league. Damesh garm.
