Surprise of this tournament is Japan that is NOT among the four top teams. Out of 13 tournaments, this time Japan is out.

I was expecting Kirgizstan to be the fifth team but Australia is ranked fifth and will go to WC in September in Columbia.

I was checking the numbers for WC, Brazil and Columbia have won most of the games. Iran once was among the top four teams (1992), after that we did not make it to semi-final.

It is said that this is the best or one of the best Futsal teams that Iran has.

I was surprised that injured Captain played, in my view, it was not necessary especially he could have gotten injured in contact with Vietnam goalie.

Overall, good results for Iran with a chance to have top goal scorer (Tayebi), after many years that Shamsaee used to get this honor.

great win by our team. happy that we got captin Keshavarz back. that was a big moral boost for our team going into the final! we have to finish this on Sunday. Anything less than a championship is not acceptable. we have no excuse. i hope they boys do not feel over confident and complacent.

The Uzbek team has been super lucky to make it to the final. First, they had the home team support, and second their path to the finals was paved, avoiding the likes of Japan, Vietnam and Iran in QF or SF.

Their performances have been mediocre at best. ... But on Sunday their luck will run out and they will have a taste of reality.
