Our goal should be to win the Futsal World Cup, let alone the AFC Championship. The only team on our level is Brazil.

Realistically, Spain and Brazil are above us. They are the kings.

Italy and Russia are on our level.

Argentina and Portugal are slightly below Iran. But they are definitely a threat.

The rest of the world doesn't stand a chance.

And this is realistically speaking.

A realistic goal is to reach the semi-final of the World Cup, as we did in our maiden World Cup of 1992... Where we kicked everyone's asses in the same year Iran's futsal was created.

Futsal is different, in Futsal we have one of the strongest records internationally both in and out of Asia. Plus, we have had foreign coaches and never been so convincing...while Asia is up and down this time we had nothing but success. If we handle Uzbekistan Iran will undoubtedly be in a good position going into WC. For once we are no longer relying on one player like Shamsaee...I am all for improving, but right now Nazemosharie has earned the right to coach this team through the WC. Credit where it's due.

Thailand by far was a better team and on penalties lost to Uzbek. They could easily give Iran and other teams a hard time.

Suphawut from Thailand scored FOUR goals against Vietnam. Now he has 14 goals to win the most goal trophy. Behind him is Tayyebi with 11 goals. Iran must socred 7-10 goals against Uzbek for Tayyebi to have more goals to catch up with Suphawut.

In my view, Iran worry about winning without many injuries and any cards. As you may know, according to AFC cules yellow card cost each person and team $300 and red card costs $1000
