    China Super League clubs' incredible spending spree, ACL domination next?

    With the winter transfer window coming to an end in China (26 February 2016) the CSL have had their biggest-spending winter ever!!! (and there is probably more to follow!!)
    China’s Super League is considered by analysts to be the best in Asia already, but with this boost of talent coming in with top players is this going to mean ACL domination in the years to come? And what does this mean for the Iranian teams?

    Just to give you an idea of the big name signings a couple of examples;

    Alex Teixeira from Shakhtar D. to JS Suning €50 million

    Jackson Martínez from Atlético Madrid to GZ Evergrande €42 million

    Fredy Montero from Sporting CP to TJ Teda €5 million

    Stéphane Mbia from Trabzonspor to HB China Fortun €6 million

    Fredy Guarín from Inter to SH Shenhua €13 million

    Ramires from Chelsea FC to FC JS Suning €28 million

    Assani Lukimya from Werder Bremen to Liaoning FC €2 million

    Gervinho from AS Roma to HB China Fortun €18 million

    What on earth is this? Alex Teixeira who has scored 22 goals so far in the Ukrainian league from the the midfield.

    He is in crazy form right now. very smart move because he is only 26 and playing the best football if his career.

          Not one of those player transfers you mentioned were in any way notable. Zaccharoni is a good one though but he's obvs a manager

            players who go to china or middle east , during thier prime is stupid, money is good but you wont be known in football, plus good teams wont come for you, that a fact, if your good this year does not mean 2 years later your good also, and new players come up, so if your 22 and wanna play in china is just stupid

                  Money controls football:
                  As an example look at sudden improvement in Cheslea, Manchester city, PSG and more examples I don't want to name. In China for example; Guangzhou Evergrande Football Club is owned by Alibaba so it's the same thing just new and unexpected for you guys.
                  Maybe if our government was more open to privatization of the IPL, broadcasting and sponsoring of teams there would be more money in our soccer.

                    Yes and no. Expensive players means draining the clubs out of their useful resources, so it means less money for investing on local talents. It may make the matches more competitive and little bit more entertaining but does not help the national football. We know the structure in our football so big money brings huge corruption and ruins everything. We would rather clean the filth first and have responsible people in place then invest on local academies as well as importing foreign talents to hype up the competition. Investments should be balanced. Giving a foreign player like 100 times of best Chinese players' salaries, will kill the motivation. Chinese clubs are very biased toward foreign players.
