What made me more furious this game is the crossing and the shots. For a country with the strongest foundation of Physics in the middle east our players in Iran do not know anything about using the direction the ball is rolling/bouncing to your advantage. It's like they just smash at the ball and hope it goes somewhere. How man times did the ball go skyrocketing after a shot in this game. You dont see this in a decent league. Shooting practice should be hours of work.

It's better that they got eliminated before reaching the group stages since they would have lost all their games and would have embarrased us vs Saudis. This team is a mid table IPL team at best and they will suck even more in coming weeks as Amiri and Hosseini will probably leave to China. This is what happens when there's so many changes and inconsistency between squads. In May 2015 naft looked like acl contenders now they're no better than a mid table ipl team.
