Persian Gulf League - 2015/2016 | Week 20 - Date/Time (+ LIVE REPORT)
Although the thoughts of having a packed Azadi stadium feels as exhilarating as it sounds, but again having these back to back Free-admission games will in a long run hurt our football and stadiums than doing any good. This trend will become a norm for the fans and after a while they would always demand such luxury for all upcoming matches, and it will definitely backfire, should the club reinforce admission fees.
Nevertheless, look forward to a sweet home win in tomorrow's match against the on from Foolad side who has been performing really well in the second half of the season, having impressively gained 10 points out of 4 games which puts them atop of the table on the second half of the season so far!

Yeah I totally agree, that's exactly what I was thinking...
Maybe its not bad once in a blue moon for an important ACL or Team Melli match, but doing it consistently in the league won't help anyone.
Actually, free admission for not so important TM/ACL/league matches is not a bad idea. If there is less demand (spectators), you can lower the supply (prices) to get higher demand, thus more spectators.
Only 12k showed up in the friendly against Japan, but almost 40k against Turkmenistan, while only a few were interested to watch the game, because of a not so attractive opponent. Same as Naft games in ACL, they don't really have fans, therefore there was free admission to get as many supporters as possible to the stadium.
Damn, we should once win without getting so many heart attacks. We could've easily won by a couple of goals. But still the most important thing is that we have secured 3 points.
What the hell is going on with Sepahan. They lose to Saipa today!
Sepahan had more then 10 chances today and they missed a penalty. Saipa has 2 attacks from counters and they scored. Had we scored the first goal we would have cruised to the win. I think Sepahan needs a mental coach. This is just unacceptable. When you dont score, miss a penalty and have more then a dozen chances and the other team scores 2 goals from 3 attacks you deserve to lose.
This is not basketball and we cannot expect every ball shot to add to your score. anyway, 1-0 or 6-0 are no different to me as long as we are winning. Bronko has done great as we all expected. I dont think there is any other team that can please the spectators as much Bronko's team. The players are young and they are learning. In 2 years they will peak and this team will win AFC cup.
