CQ has turned in his resignation. He said he will leave by the end of Apr. They are just waiting for the new elections for the the head of IFF before deciding on what to do.

We have been through this before. In my opinion CQ will be with us till the WC.

He's timed the resignation right on the date of IFF presidential elections. There is clearly a message on the resignation.
Basically he's saying if someone good is elected I might stay, otherwise I'll leave.

Here is a possible scenario: If Asadi runs for presidency he has to retire as general secretary. If he loses the elections, it will be a lose-lose situation for him.

We need someone who can make IFF independent from the Ministery of Sports. Kafashian might has a good heart, but he is too weak.

You seriously believe all these world class coaches are jobless, waiting for us to approach them? His "Attention grabbing vibe" is first for the sake of TM fate, and his own reputation. He cares and wants the best for both himself and his team for we should all be thankful for.

His arguments with the people in charge is absolutely words of reason and wisdom!

We do not need a "world class coach". I don't even consider CQ a world class coach. He is at most a very good coach. He is over hyped in Iran for no reason (took us to WC2014 and 4th in AC). He has failed at big stages with Real Madrid; his own country's national team does not want him.

Do I believe Iran can get a good coach if CQ leaves? Yes.
Will that coach be able to take Iran to WC2018? About the same chance as under CQ

You forget Iran has quality players in Asia. Getting to the stage we are at has a lot to do with the talent pool in Iran.

Also, I do not think his attention seeking vibe is for TM first. CQ knew very well after working with Iran for 4-5 years how the federation works. Him signing the second contract knowing the conditions in Iran is his fault. The Sports ministry are not in good relationship with CQ and that only hurts TM. Creating this drama also places the fans and players into mental stress for no reason.

In a professional work place if you complain so much and talk trash about your boss you would be given your pay check and either get laid off or fired.
CQ complaining and attention grabbing is first to save his own reputation. All his "passion" or "gherat" for TM is just a show because he knows how gullible Iranians can be.

His daily fighting? Take some time to understand what he's fighting for.

It's honestly beyond me how there are some people that see CQ as the problem.
