In CQ's case he has done more for our soccer in the last 2 years than any other manager Iran has had since forever. He has questioned IFF, lack of money and the lack of transparency. These are the vast problems that we have.
Again Branko is a great coach that is cheap, doesn't question the IFF and doesn't change our soccer. Depends if you want to the status quo or actual growth in our team melli.

Here is the best you can say about Branko Ivankovic and I am sure most of you agree with it:
Branko is good but fairly low tier european coach.
His cost is reasonable
Does not complain about poor training pitches, cloth, lack of having quality friendlies, etc
He is also a few level higher than best Iranian coaches.
*Branko Ivankovic was basically a nobody when he came to Iran (Korean fans in bigsoccer had the same idea about Stielike. Korea pays $750000 per year to Stielike, $3.0 for four years) while CQ had teams such as Real Madrid, Man United, and Portugal on his resume. After qualifying to the WC 2014, the media asked Dadkan which one do you think is better CQ or Branko? He said no doubt the answer is CQ. He said Branko came Iran as assistant coach of Miroslav Blazevic but CQ came to Iran as a well-known coach in the world who had teams like Real Madrid, Man United and Portugal on his resume. Because of that, Branko Ivankovic salary as Iran NT coach was 1/4 of CQ salary.
Basically I hope CQ stays until 2018 and IMO he stays but we all know that he will not be our coach for whole his life. He will leave this job someday. After his era, I welcome Branko Ivankvic as Iran NT coach if and only if they decide to hire a local coach. If not, I prefer a bigger foreign coach than Branko Ivankovic who can bring new atmosphere and ideas to the team.

Branko was truly a formidable coach, I'm so glad we at PFDC supported him so much, and one of us (Human Afazeli) partnered to work with him.
He took a group of players to the world cup and played outstanding football: Ali Daei el capitan, an imposing goalkeeper Mirzapour (whose consistency kept out the likes of a young Rahmati who was playing great in IPL), and he made sure there was a great team spirit between the players.
He brought so many new stars to the team, eg likes of Mobali who he nurtured and he also looked after other top strikers and made sure they contributed well such as Khatibi and Enayati.
He did not suffer fools gladly, and demoted Hashemian when he showed less interest in TM. Branko was a strong personality who did not get swayed by anyone.
We need more coaches like Branko for Iranian football!
