This is Majid Khamisi who is African-Iranian. He scored this goal vs Persepolis 3 years ago. He may be related to Mahmoud Khamisi.

                    Ali Mousavi

I remember a friendly game Iran played against Denmark and he was on the field. The cameraman kept zooming on him a few times, and trust me when I say the son a gun looked black and ugly ... it didn't help our boys who lived in Denmark proclaiming their Aryan race when trying to pick up Danish chicks!!

Man are people kidding here... Meydavoudi, Siavash Akbarpour, Mousavi etc are not black, they are just darker complexed (brown) Iranians, they don't look Nigerian or Somalian, they look like regular Iranians with a darker shade of colour. Though they can pass as Arabs.

Exactly, Iranians can be very diverse. That doesn't define them as black perse

Adam Gemili the English Sprinter was a former pro footballer at Dagenham & Redbridge. Half Iranian Half Moroccan. Right Back who was apparently too fast for football.

You are right. The only really black player I remember is Abdolreza Barzegari. I remember him As an amazingly skilled player and I'm talking world class type ability to dribble by people at that time. He was called " black pearl". It's a shame his career could not florish because of the instability in Iranian football in the beginning of the revolution. I tried to find a video of him but wasn't able to.

Ahmad Ramzi was another although never featured for Team Melli, see http://takhtejamshidcup.com/index.ph...282&Itemid=834
