Uzbeks don't, but we do have Tajik population in Uzbekistan who speak Tajik which is another form of Farsi.

Navruz is a national holiday in Uzbekistan just like in some other Central Asian countries.

So can you guys understand Farsi? Is it sort of like how Afghans speak Dari but they understand Farsi?

nope not really. other than some words with Farsi origin, Uzbek is primarily Turkic language. Tajiks on the other hand should be able to understand Farsi, since Tajik language is just different variation of it.

I have no reservation against Saudi taking top pot. If we don't play them there is much less hashieh and we will do better as a result. And we will have all of our home games irregardless of IFF's incompetence.

Korea leading 1:0, scored in minute 4, seems they know about the situation, of course they know

                      here's the goal:
lol at the goalie....korea not taking the match very seriously and rightfully so to avoid injuries and so on. both teams haven't had much rest between their last games. korea could still do better than this IMO.

probably the match is also fixed, who knows...

                        summary/some facts:

Korea won 1:0 and now fifa ranking points is 579.
                        • Iran definitely Pot 1
                        • chronological chance for Pot 1: Saudi Arabia, Australia, Korea
                        • Korea minimum/definitely in Pot 2: Only if Saudi Arabia AND Australia do not win their matches, they will be in Pot 1 with us. Both teams are not allowed to win in favor for Korea.
                        • Japan has definitely no chance for Pot 1. They will even only ranked in Pot 3 if Australia AND Saudi Arabia win their matches! Crazy!
                        • Korea definitely ranked higher as Japan, even if Japan win their match vs. Syria.
                        • If Japan win their match and Saudi Arabia minimum get a draw, Australia have to win their match, otherwise Japan Pot 2 with Saudi arabia and australia in pot 3.
                        • Uzbekistan will most probably make Pot 3, while Qatar will be in Pot 3.

Notice: Probably, if things should be fair at all, because if Iraq/Thailand group, probably, they will count off again the points which all teams collected vs. last placed team (for example our points against india will be cut off, same for all other teams vs. last ranked team in table, so that all points will be counted from matches against only 3 other teams (4teams-group)

BUT i rate this chance low at all.

They have to make a ruling on Kuwait however. If Kuwaots games are null and void. Lebanon has the slimmest chance of sneaking in over UAE/Jordan

I know nothing about how this FIFA ranking works, and I don't really give a shit, but just curious as how the fuck Saudi Arabia has managed to be ahead of Japan, Korea and Australia to be in pot 1??

i think is based on the teams they defeat, if they defeat harder team you get more points, and you beat easier teams you get less point, because saudi for this round got harder team like uae, therefore they will get more points, compare to japan or korea who are facing easier teams
