Iran possible 3rd round draws for WCQ 2018

anyone know when the draw for the next round is?

The third round draw will be held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on April 12, where the 12 teams are divided in to two groups of six. The six teams in each group will play each other on home and away basis where the top two sides from each group will book their place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals.

The two third-placed teams will then face each other over two legs, with the winner taking on the side that finishes fourth in the fifth round of the CONCACAF qualifiers in a two-legged inter-confederation playoff.

2. S. Korea
3. Uzbekistan
4. UAE
5. Iraq
6. Syria

Iran and South Korea will be in the World Cup 2018 I feel it, if this would be our group!
Syria and Iraq has no team, there country is almost destroyed by war. specially Syria, there is no any football. UAE over China, I think UAE will be more easy for us. but I think we would not have any problems of defeating China.

So I have been out of the loop recently, did AFC add more teams for the final round? Because I remember in the last qualifiers, there were 2 groups of 5 teams in each group, or maybe I am mistaken? Could someone kindly confirm?

how can you pick 4.5 teams from three groups? the top of each group and then the top second place team goes through and the other ones are the two half teams?
it wouldnt be fair since one group could be easy then the second place team in that group would be at an advantage
