I sincerely hope you are joking about this. Otherwise, please pass me whatever you are smoking. You do realize that South American is comprised of the likes of Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Chile, Venezuela... An asian powerhouse could not sniff a 2nd rated south american team.

You say Iran isn't a powerhouse in Asia but we beat the current South American champions last year.

We have a strong team, but your argument is flawed. USA beat Germany after the World Cup, does that mean that USA is better than all of Europe and the world because they won a test match? Many top tier teams do not try their hardest to win friendly games. They tend to win when it matters.

Otherwise, I do think Iran is a major player in world football and one of the top 30 teams in the world, despite the dumb FIFA rankings saying otherwise.

Luck happens 1 time. Once it happens 3, 4 times it isn't called luck anymore. Koreans lack in the finishing department much more than us and most of the time fail to match us physically.
The truth is, every Asian team wants to avoid Iran. That includes Australia, Saudi Arabia, Japan and Korea.

All four of them have recently said that they'd rather avoid Iran if possible.

At least Australia can sleep well now. The other three are still feeling uneasy until 12th april.

What have we done that the current Asian champions wants to avoid us?

If you think Iran is such a good footballing country, why the hell do you care what teams we will face in the final round. Oh I don't want to play this team or that team... stop being a little baby... The reality is Iran has not been an Asian powerhouse since it last won the Asian Cup in 1978. It is rather arrogant of us to think we are such a power in asia since our best showing in the past 38 years was a third place finish in the 96 cup. If you think you are the best team, then you should welcome any challenge upon us wussies.
Except by record we are very difficult to build, we are an Asia power house our record and the fact that we rarely lose proves this and our team is nearly stonger than it ever has been and we are very difficult to play away from home , do you think any national team in Asia wants to play at the Azadi? No , its one of the most intimidating atmospheres in world football.

being very difficult to play from away from home, barely conceding against all teams in Asia, having a strong offensive line and having more heart and passion than the vast majority of teams in Asia

Since he still has club interests, he is shoving his shitty Pakhtakor players into the national team, so he can sell them later to foreign clubs. For example, Persepolis GK Lobanov. Lobanov isn't even top 5 goalkeeper in Uzbekistan. yet somehow became the main keeper since Babayan became the coach. mind-boggling how Persepolis even bothered to get this GK. shows u a lot about what kind of people are running Persepolis in Iran too. Lobanov was benched (surprise, surprise) in Persepolis, but still started the match against Philippines recently. Top teams will smash his net in the next round.
football problems in Uzbekistan is very very similar to Iran's, but 100 times worse. You guys have at least top quality foreign coach in Carlos Queiroz. Uzbekistan will give problems to all the top teams in the final round due to the strong leggionaire players, but with the current coach and keeper, Uzbekistan ain't qualifying to the World Cup. Guaranteed 100%.
People of Uzbekistan are not in need of cowards like you, whether it's in football or in general. At least unlike you, some of them in federation are doing something. Uzbekistan national team and all football fans don't need plastic fans like you. Your arguments are purely subjective, your opinions. National team under Babayan won all 7 matches of WCQ in a row, this is a fact. Unlike you, we take the team as it is, with its problems which we're overcoming gradually together. If you don't believe in our qualification, just leave it.

hmmm didn't know telling the truth makes you a coward!!!???!! so who exactly at the UFF is doing something good? setting up friendlies with good teams? NO! create some long-term planning? NO! getting decent looking jerseys?? NO! getting a decent foreign coach??? NOOOO! so tell me, what are they doing anything half decent that you see?

as far as beating 7 teams in a row, really??? u really want to make that argument? beating the likes of Philippines, Bahrain, Yemen, and North Korea is not impressive at all.

if my arguments are purely subjective, then pick any 1 thing from my original statement that is actually FALSE? good luck

Telling the truth is one thing, but telling the truth mixed with blind hatred is another, I would say. It's easily distinguishable.
