Here's my new video as most of you probably don't know TM's newest call-up Dariush Shojaeian. His style of play is very similar to Masoud Shojaei when he was at the same age, his dribbling is still not as good as Masoud's but technically he's easily one of the most gifted Iranian player in recent years

If you put Shojaeian in Masoud's jersey, you would think they are the same guy based on their style of dribbling. I think Masoud is a better dribbler, but they still look the same when they pull off their moves.
Dariush is definitely faster though (although Masoud was no slouch before all those foot surgeries).
Edit: Great vid by the way!

Imagine if he has a goal/assist or two assists vs. Oman then you might consider editing the vid.

Masoud in his peak was much more natural with the ball and the ball was basically stuck to his feet, but technique wise I would even put Shojaeian along the same group as Shojaei and AK8.
The difference between him and Masoud is mainly that he is faster as Ando Teymourian jan said, and Shojaeian tends to use skill moves more frequently to get passed players, when Masoud used his close dribbling to do so. However he was very, very similar to Shojaeian when he was 23, hopefully he turns out like him and makes it into a top European league I think he has the potential to have a similar career as Masoud in La Liga if he makes the right choices

Good video. One criticism I have of Shojaein is that at times the ball is a bit distanced from him, and it feels almost like an unintentional move or dribble. He also loves going nutmeg (lah pah) and against better defenders (aka world cup defenders) you rarely have success repeatedly with that move. He is faster paced than Masoud, but he is no where near the ball handling technical ability that AK8 had...just saying.Remember RESPECT BEGETS RESPECT & Zob Ahan
