2 very good games today:
PP vs Siah Jamegan, nice goals from both teams. You could see Aliasgari had something to prove today, and I thought he played terrific (thats the Aliasgari I remember). Very nice, quick passing goals from PP. As for Sosha's red card, he is an aggressive keeper which we all know. Sometimes it works against him, but sometimes it helps him too. He stopped a very dangerous situation in the first half by coming out aggressively as well. Just needs to choose his moments more wisely.
Big 3 points for PP, since Esteghlal and EsEs Khuz ended up in a draw. Top 3 is very tight now, with Zob also breathing down their necks.
The Khuzestan game was also very nice. High attendance, great atmosphere, and high paced. I felt like it was 2008, watching Vahid Talebloo make all those nice saves!

Siah Jamegan's players and coach must be truly ashamed of themselves. This is the firs time in my life that I have seen a team defending and wasting time against a 10 men team after losing the lead!!
Thank God our boys played a more beautiful football despite being a man down, scoring 2 more goals, hence winning the much needed win at such crucial stage.
The gap between the top 3 teams is super exciting.
Out of the top 3 teams, Perspolis relatively has the "Easiest" games remaining ahead of itself, while Esteghlal Khuzestan's remaining games are somewhat a bit harder than that of Perspolis'. Meanwhile Esteghlal faces some super tough unplayed matches awaiting them, all their remaining games are to be played against real strong and sturdy teams such as: Sepahan, Perspolis, Tractorsazi, Foolad, Saipa, and Saba.
My Speculation of the top 3 PGL standings based on their current form and playing styles and remaining matches is:
1- Perspolis
2- Esteghlal Khuzestan
3- Esteghlal Zobahan/Tractorsazi/Zobahan

Extremely important 3 points!!! this was a must win game for us to get closer to the top. And it was a hard fought one; throughout the game I was damn worried due to various reasons. Our defense still looks pretty shaky and despite having the best offense of the league, we couldn’t really score more than 1 goal in the last matches. Our players underestimated SJ at the beginning and the pressure from the stand was missing too - hence why we conceded 2 pathetic goals, but "woke up" with the red card, finally proving even 10men should be enough for us to beat them.
While credit must be given to SJ as they indeed played well and managed to threat us badly, their loser mentality however to resort to grassrolling against a 10men team was disgusting. Probably they were too afraid of Perspolis and lacked confidence - it was pure justice when SJ's GK tried to waste time, but immediately conceded a goal after that.
Not too comfortable with Alishah being the captain, but with his 2 sweet assists he at least initiated the win like a captain should do. Ali Parvin btw. rates him as the best Iranian player currently.Formerly known as Persianking!
