I heard the travel and accommodation costs were taken into account. Oman was the cheapest.

If Iranian clubs had money which they do not they could fight it in court and win. Saudi's have money and they are winning both off the field and on the field.

Unfortunately IFF will pick the cheapest and most affordable venue, in other words for them I doubt the overall result matters as much as its costs and expenses.

Therefore let's not delude ourselves, IFF will pick whichever country where the cost is the lowest. Going by that logic and possibility I would definitely go with Tajikistan. Uzbekistan is a big no, as no Uzbek will really root for Iran.

Yes.unfortunatly,Iranian federation agreed to play in " Oman ".

Iran should in principle refuse to play on a foreign ground. These are FIFA matches, not AFC bullshit!

If we end up in situation were we have to play outside Iran, we need to find the best support by the Iranian community. I don't believe tajiks, afghans or uzbeks would even care about our national team, let alone coming to our support.

Turkey is not AFC member, hence not relevant.

UAE is probably the best option. At least half of the stadium will be filled by Iranian expats. rest of the arab countries will be in favour of the saudies.
Anyhow, we witnessed how incompetent IFF was in the AFC CL issue, so don't expect too much.
