    Tiebreakers
    The teams are ranked according to points (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss). If tied on points, tiebreakers are applied in the following order (Regulations Article 11.5)

    Greater number of points obtained in the group matches between the teams concerned;

    Goal difference resulting from the group matches between the teams concerned;

    Greater number of goals scored in the group matches between the teams concerned;

    Greater number of away goals scored in the group matches between the teams concerned;

    If, after applying criteria 1 to 4, teams still have an equal ranking, criteria 1 to 4 are reapplied exclusively to the matches between the teams in question to determine their final rankings. If this procedure does not lead to a decision, criteria 6 to 10 apply;

    Goal difference in all the group matches;

    Greater number of goals scored in all the group matches;

    Penalty shoot-out if only two teams are involved and they are both on the field of play;

    Fewer score calculated according to the number of yellow and red cards received in the group matches (1 point for a single yellow card, 3 points for a red card as a consequence of two yellow cards, 3 points for a direct red card, 4 points for a yellow card followed by a direct red card);

    Team who belongs to the member association with the higher AFC ranking.

      Go follow European football and find out, otherwise don't say anything. And many clubs in Europe have more than that, 11 foreigners for a top team is a low amount.

        Zob Ahan vs (Al Ain(UAE) or Al Ahli(KSA)) TEAM FINISHED SECOND

        MY PREDICTION

        ZOB AHAN VS AL AIN(UAE)

            Sepahan totally embarrassed us in this edition of ACL. It somewhat spoiled the joy of our other 2 teams sweet wins. I mean losing is fine, but conceding 4 goals from a Saudi team is just not justifiable for them. I am so mad!

              Up until 1-2 months ago I believed in Stimac and thought all his critics are just biased and unfair, but Sepahan's recent display, and particularly their ACL adventure have been nothing short of a disaster. A 4-0 loss against a Saudi team is just wrong, especially at under such critical political and patriotic circumstances. He played it loose and irresponsibly. It's game over for him!

                  Al-Ittehad have a quality side with some really good playes, that Fahad Al-Mullahwad guy is something else. Dont know if people were expecting anything other than a defeat. Anyway we can be proud of Tractor and Zob Ahan. In an age were middle eastern clubs are spalshing out millions securing players that dont want to play for them. Zob Ahan and Tractor have dominated their groups with good team cohesion and work ethic rather than paying some south american 10 million dollars to produce a half assed display. I still expect a chinese team to win it though. I still cant believe Alex Texeria is playing in this competition. Its ridiculous.

                      Well AFC rules state a total of 4 foreigners in each squad. One of the the four players must also represent a nation that is part of AFC.

                        I don't think Al Ittihad is a deadly team. I just think Sepahan has been shitty.

                        If it was Zob Ahan or Tractor in the group instead of Sepahan, the outcome would have been different.

                          well sepahan didn't play too bad today despite losing 4-0 but thank god Stimac is out. Our defence needs a major shake up we concede goals at will.

                            Very solid performance by Iranian teams considering their budget compared to other leagues.

                              Whether this is a fair statement is arguable, but mentioning it because Chimba missed a chance is strange. He has been better than a lot of Iranian strikers / players in his time in Iran, so I am not sure why this comment is at him.

                                Afarin Zobahan.

                                I saw the game in Sultan Qaboos Stadium last night with Iranian.
                                Zobahan played well and comfortable. There were many Saudi fans, more than Iranian. It's easy for Saudi fans to attend games in Oman since they are neighbors and no visa is required. Iranian fans supported the team and enjoyed the game and were proud of Zobahan team.
                                There were many Omani fans for both teams. In Persian gulf area Oman is most friendly nation with Iran and good alternative when no other choices is available definitely better choice than Qatar or Kuwait.
                                Saudi and Arab Hostility toward Iran will not ease anytime soon and perhaps IRI should consider helping to organize fan better for cultural and psychological factors.
                                Saudi team (Arabs in General) use pro music groups with more exciting chants and flare than Iranian.
                                Iranian chants are old fashion, silly (occasionally) and less organized. Would be nice if they do something about it.
                                Go Zobahan
