I thought Ando did pretty well there. If I'm remembering correctly, he was supposed to stay there and was a popular player, but with Ahmadinejad in charge and problems with visas he could not stay.

The sample size is also small, how many players have we had in BPL and the Championship?

Reza is not the same player as Sardar. Sardar is younger, better technically, and stronger. Reza has more stamina and speed, but in a rough league like England, that is not overly important. In my opinion, Reza is better suited for France, Netherlands, or maybe even Spain. Sardar will develop better in leagues that will tougher him up like EPL, Bundesliga, or Serie A.

Yeah I personally feel like he would fit well in the Bundesliga. Our players also have a history of success and good performances there.

I checked on Russian websites and AFAIK he just said that he would like to play a world cup 2018 game in Rostov (since Rostov is one of the host cities). It seems our medias screwed up once again.

If Rostov wins and they play in champions league, wont they get more money and be able to buy better players though? Regardless I hope it works out, Rubin is a tough club to deal with it seems though.

Reza is far more technical and clinical I would say in terms of finishing and striking. Sardar is better at headers and is stronger. They are different strikers and in different stages, but Reza's finishing is the best in TM right now I woulds argue.

I am really wondering if Azmun should stay there if Rostov play the CL (or even EL) and at the same time he has interesting offer aborad.

Maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing that Azmun sign for a top club (Real, Bayern, etc..) even if he doesn't play at all there. At least training withe best players around, best coach/training... to learn and correct the flaw of his games. After one year or two he can be loaned or sold to a smaller clubs and show his talents and all he learnt.

Next year Rostov will probably explode, so it could be the best opportunity to catch a good club.

Azmoun should stay with Rostov. That is the only good team for him next season. Some of you are delusional to think he can go anywhere else and get playing time. With only 4 goals, completely forget about any leagues that are top 7-8 in Europe. His only destination is Russia or somewhere worse. If they're gonna be in EL or CL, he should stay.

If you consider France as a top 7/8, Azmun could play in 90% of ligue 1 clubs

I think if Berdyev stays at Rostov, than Sardar should stay as well. I feel that they are going the same path as Rubin Kazan. When Berdyev took over Rubin in 2001, they went from a 2nd division team to Russian champions in 2009 and 2010 and a Top 4 Russian team during his tenure. I remember they got 5 points out of 4 games against Barcelona in their two UCL seasons and impressed in the 2012-13 EL season by beating Inter and Atletico and almost eliminating Chelsea (they lost on the away goal rule). Now he brought many players he worked with in Rubin (Azmoun, Gatcan, Moglievets, Noboa, Bukharov, Navas). Let's see how they do in the future.

could is very different than whether they will get him. Whats the incentive for a team in that league to go for a Russian player league with only 4 goals? without anything substantial before it

Ligue 1 is the 6th best league in Europe, Russia is 7th. Both are pretty similar leagues focused on physicality and defense. And Azmoun could get lots of playing time in basically most of French teams like PSGman said, but that would be a sideway move at best. He is more than capable of finding a midtable top 3 league team, Bundesliga or La Liga would be fine

What's the incentives for Bundesliga teams for getting J-League and K-League players that never proved themselves outside their country?

He is young and has a good potential to develop.

Except Russia is #6 or 7 last time I checked.
