Based on what would you make such biased statement? Hasn't Perspolis been playing one of the best football this season? true they defend sloppy and their keepers are all mediocre at best, which has cost them a lot this season, but the team in general plays beautiful football, and definitely deserves to be one of the championship contenders and nominees!

SS Khuzestan and Zob Ahan deserve to be one of championship contenders and nominees not Perspolis . PP has spent so much money and destroyed other teams this season e.g ramin rezaeian . But SS Khuzestan has been on top form with bunch of unknown guys who cost 1/10 th of PP players. Same with zobahan, they are playing in 3 different tournaments and still performing a lot better than PP ! Also Taremi diving and getting unfair penalties is not considered football mate, Thank god it was shown on navad so refs have been more carefully about his dives. He also dived yesterday which deserved a yellow card ....

I like Zob Ahan, but have you forgotten 2 of Zob's biggest wins this year were because of garbage ref calls in their matches against Persepolis?
And who says Persepolis has an expensive team? This is a team made mostly of youngsters. Teraktor, Sepahan, and Esteghlal all have spent more on players than Persepolis.

Ref mistake is part of the game mate, Cheating the ref and playing dirty (taremi ) is a different thing. PP has benefited from refs way more than ZZ . Also i don't recall saying sepahan or teraktor or SS deserv to win the league ( did i say that??). As for social media hooligans. Don't take Sorkhabi fans on Instagram and Facebook seriously. They never had "adab" or "janbeh". They are the same ones who insulted Azmoun for his interview on 90, who insulted Fereshteh Karimi for showing her love for one of the Sorkhabi teams, who insulted Beiranvand when he was linked with a move to Perspolis and showed a super performance against both Perspolis and Esteghlal. They insult their players on the worst level when they don't perform (f.e. 11.000 insulting comments on Taremi's Instagram page after he missed a penalty against Naft, which lead to Perspolis players closing their Instagram pages, 33.000 insulting comments on Cheshmi's Instagram page after missing a penalty against Qatar). They hold a grudge against certain commentators (Esteghlal fans against Adel, Perspolis fans against Mazdak and Yousefi) and insult every referee when they make mistakes and even referee experts on 90 when they say things that PP/SS fans don't agree with. Some of them even insulted Hejazi, Norouzi and Oladi after their deaths...which is beyond low class.

They recently created some ridiculous jokes, calling PP fans sandwich-eaters (because PP managers talked about serving free sandwiches during PP home games) and EsEs fans "fandaki" (being crazy about firecrackers after video of Esteghlal fans fighting for firecrackers was spread...lol).

Do you guys think overall attendance has dipped again this season? anyone has official stats (they show different results on transfermarkt and wiki)? thanks

I looked at the same stats.
Wiki (based off iplstats) says average attendance has increased by a bit.
Transfermarket says average attendance has decreased by a bit.

I think by the end of the season because of the sensitivities involved, attendance will be higher than last year.
If Teraktor fans hadn't abandoned their team the league average would have been much higher this season.

I believe a large part of TS fans used to fill up the radium to showcase their agenda.

Being an Iranian Azeri I prefer an empty Stadium for Azeri teams, rather than a packed stadium predominantly filled by these pathetic separatist group.
