Folks I hope all of you are not expecting a walk over against Macedonia. The only reason why they are ranked so low is because they are always pitted against top European teams in competitions and it is very hard for them to walk away with positive results. This will be a very hard fought battle just like the last time we faced them back in 09 under Ghotbi or even the time before that in 05 with our top legionaries we failed to win either matches. Matches like this against teams like Macedonia, Albania, Georgia are actually very beneficial for our Team and I do encourage more match ups against 3 tier european teams.

i highly doubt Sardar not getting the starting nod in this game...
but indeed with both Reza and Sardar outa of the line-up, this game would be an excellent indicator of who else we could count on to Score Tough Goals in clutch situations which we will surely be facing later on ,in this final round of qualifiers..!
my money is on Jahanbaksh/Torabi next, followed by Taremi and Ansarifard..! Amiri also has a good outside chance
