well, I'd have liked better european leagues for our lads, like french, dutch, even austrian. But given the trend in recent years, if the choice was between persian gulf shitty leagues and turkey, I'd take turkey. The only concern is the general behavior and treatment of our lads by the turkish clubs

as for why austrian, I think it is a great FEEDER/GATEWAY league to the likes of bundesliga and higher leagues in europe. I dont see much travel FROM turkish league to european top leagues. It's usually the other way especially for the older and near the retirement stars of big leagues.
