Tractor has rejected Haroyan's transfer because of being Armenian. Many Tractor fans (separatists) protested on Ajorlou's Instagram page about the new player for being Armenian.

Brwa Nouri has been called up by Iraq. He was born in Urmia, Iran. Neil Yadolahi is rumoured to also be called up by Iraq and he has an Iranian father. What the hell?

My father is Azeri and f*** Pan-Turks and seperatist b.s.

They're Kurds so maybe they are trying to link it that way (Nouri and Yadollahi)...

The Armenian defender went to Padideh instead.
Good for Padideh. I hope the guy scores a hat trick versus Teraktor.

                Shameful.

Haroyan (player that Tractor refused because he was Armenian), signs with Padideh.

                    Say no to racism!
The IFF federation should definetly think about penalizing TS for such actions. I would go as far as even deducting points off the team for the upcoming season. Im all for National or city pride but ethnical pride has no place in sports.

fully agreed at least a 3 point deduction and a heavy fine, disgarceful.

Link to what, Iraq? How are Kurds and Iraq synonymous? We have Kurds in Iran.

Someone please explain, this is strange.

We don't want anyone who wants to play with Iraq. But it's possible that even tho he was born in Iran his parents were Iraqi. Do we really know ?

Honestly who cares? The guy will never be good enough to be TM material so best of luck to him.

So true. We have the best TM in years at the moment. Outside of a real solid European based goalkeeper (which we don't have and hopefully Biranvand will develop into) we don't really need to bring players from abroad unless they are killing it like Dejagah and Gucci were in 2011 and 2012.

These guys who play in top divisions of Sweden aren't necessarily "killing it" at the moment. We really have no place for them at the moment. If a player is scoring large numbers of goals in a lesser Euro league, or is playing in a top-4 League like Ashkan was, then they might be on TM's level.

Otherwise, not a huge loss. We have Ezatollahi in midfield, and the kid is the future. We have all the right pieces now. Unless someone truly emerges as a world class player from Europe or is very consistently good in Europe, the old days of looking to Europe for success are gone. If anything, Europe is only bringing more and more of our players at the moment. Let's move on from these players. They were never truly in contention for TM, or else they would have been called up in previous camps.

I am assuming Kurdish people in the Iraqi FA found them and they'll use some sort of common heritage link. Sort of like how alot of Irish players have no real links to Ireland anymore but play for them.
