Also, with all these players leaving Naft Tehran and Mansourian leaving, what the hell is going to happen to the club

Kanaanizadegan pulled a "Beiranvand". Unfortunately money these days takes away loyalty & pride - and then they call it "professional"...

Saba to me has been making great signings. Daei has a good eye for young players and is signing alot of young players who don't get much of a chance in other clubs.

If it were up to me I would make Daei the PGL talent scout. He has proven it again and again

and the transfer season isnt over yet. we shd expect more wastage of PUBLIC funds
I'd have been less angry if these two, for all their hold on iranian football, actually bothered to DEVELOP players. In a way, to give back for wasting massive amounts of public wealth. But they cant be bothered with having youth development! these two, who boast about having 80% share of fans in Iran, they produce next to nothing, compared to clubs who have a fraction of fan and fan support and yet keep on producing and developing new players

When he was rooming with my cousin back in the TM U23 camp in October or November of 2014, he wouldn't stop saying how much he loves Persepolis and how he's gonna work hard to play there and then go to Europe ASAP. He had a great season for malavan and now goes to the rival who also happens to be notorious for blocking transfers to Europe absolutely pathetic

I 100% agree these 2 teams should be developing talent and should have a lot better grass root programs.

But I don't agree with the wastage of public funds accusation, as these teams are money generating machines but the current laws rip these two popular teams off financially all the time:

Sedao Sima denies all of their broadcasting rights as the ratings for these 2 teams is way higher than other IPL teams (Most major source of revenue generation for famous FCs)
There is no Copyright laws to allow them to turn large profits from exclusivity on Sale of Jersies and team products
The stupid Sarbazi rules doesn't give incentive for player development and sale of Talent when they are in their 20s

Finally the way upper office management is chosen by the regime it promotes short term objectives and there are no incentives for long term success (for example no incentive for Player development, no incentive for infrastructure development, Bad contracts with foreign stars that become a problem 3-4 years later when they complain to FiFA)

Long story short the way these teams are operated and the limitations imposed on them is another major example of IRI incompetence

I like how everyone talks about he has no loyalty. He has never played for Perspolis. He made a name for him self at Malavan. and Esteghlal blocking transfers to Europe is BS. specially if you are talking about Barzaee... He had no legit offer. Getafe asked him to come to a trial which was a month long. No club in their right mind would let a player who has a contract with them to go on a trial. he can get injured and and he will lose time with their own club... and last time I checked both esteghlal and perspolis have not transferred anyone to Europe. (ansarifard was a free transfer so that does not count just like how Taremi will not count since he is a free agent).

Just a few seasons back Sepahan outspent all PGL teams on their purchases, yet not a single person bothered writing an article about it, nor did any of us (Sorkhabi fans) cared writing a single comment about it. Another case of Sepahan's exorbitant purchases goes back to 4-5 years ago, when GN took helm of the team, mind you that team was comprised of pretty much all top notch Iranian footballer at the time, with the addition of several top foreign players of IPL. Did any of the "Sorkhabi" fans here on PFDC at least whine about it?

It baffles me how Sepahan and some Foolad fans often scream their hearts upon Reds & Blues unorthodox behavior such as spendings on players/coaches, refereeing etc.

We're all ecstatic over both Sepahan and Foolad soon having their own modern stadiums, while both Perspolis and Esteghlal are deprived of a proper training facility, let alone own-stadiums.

They say one of the Jewish community's success reasons is their attribution to nagging and constant complaining, in an attempt to be considered as 'Victims" of conspiracy theories against the Jews. With all due respect, Sepahan fans often remind me of this attribution...

In all fairness GA jaan, it's a professional career and they have to be professional. Being a fan of a certain team, shall not automatically force a player to succumb to whatever the circumstances of joining his favorite team is offering. We don't know what went on behind the curtain, no do we know what the details of the proposed contract were, therefore it'd be a bit unfair and biased to judge him for his decision.

These guys only have maximum of 8-12 years to make top money, and after this period may never ever be able to generate income off of footballing career, hence, gotta make sure they make the right move, to secure their future.

Hopefully in a near future if he excels and shines better, we'll offer him a better salary and snatch him.

We need to be fair fans, unlike some other teams' biased fans, we shall refrain from making unjust comments (In this case GA jaan I am definitely not referring to you, as you've always been one fair and balanced member)

I don’t know when Foulad outspend any top IPL team but:
1- Few years back when as a result of outrageous unjust referring ( not sure if a malice)
Foulad relegated and purchased Sepahan Novin. Foulad FC paid Sepahan 1/3 of their Budget of next two years to get IPL birth again. Sepahan used that money to rebuild their mighty team towards 2 championships. That deal benefited the two.
2- Foulad Industry building their stadium not out of their goodness but to silence city population for all hazards their industry brings to the community. Since Foulad was purchased by out of state /Tehran entity (by fraud), they have drastically reduce their sport expenditure yearly. They simply want out of pro sport activities and they prefer their team to relegate. Foulad Industry get so much break on various forms from the city that little they spend in their unfinished stadium is not much; they are even looking to find a way to sell that stadium if they can.
3- Foulad budget was drastically cut last year (30%) and this year by 50%.
On related issue, Non Khuzestan /Tehrani owners of Esteghlal Khuz wanted to get out of pro sport last year ( just like Naft Tehran) because of expenses( although lowest among the top teams) but miracle of the team and staying at the top then championship delayed their decision , they will go at it when Esteghlal Khuz is falling.

This system is corrupt and unjust it will bring discord among population of states and create distances
