Bagherian: "We want our young players to progress in Europe. Since Dinamo Zagreb is a well-known European team and transferred many players to top leagues, we won't prevent from him going to Europe. For that reason we agreed on a transfer."

Keeper-profile was banned in Iran because of "Spongebob"-pants. Now he can get to Norwegian football.

New Smyrna Beach is considering to sign the Iranian goalkeeper Sosha Makani (29).

29-year-old, who this week has trained with a pursuit, no anyone. Sosha Makani has more fighting Iran's A-national teams and has played for the Iranian Giants Persepolis the last two seasons.

-There is no doubt that it is a good keeper. He is experienced and seasoned, a classkeeper. So it depends on how he will fit into the Obo-League. There are several things to take into consideration here, so we are in a phase of thinking now, tells the Bozeman coach Aftenposten Vegard Hansen.

International is, however, best known for Makani something completely different. In June, he was banned from Iranian football for six months because he was pictured wearing yellow "Spongebob"-pants.

That a football profile Makani "fronted" an American animation figure, was very badliked by disiplinærkomiteen in the Iranian Football Federation.

            Iran-expert:-Have a u-Iranian lifestyle

"Inappropriate behavior and contrary to Islamic values", meant disiplinærkomiteenand gave the 29-year-old it-Norway-very strict punishment.

-He has a lifestyle that is very UN-Iranian. He doesn't fit into the picture the mightyin Iran will have, "said Pehzman Pars to Aftenposten.

The Swede driver Twitter profile @IranskFotboll and follow the sport in the country closely. He knows the history well Sosha Makanis.

-He's a great profile in Iran, a celebrity, but he has gained a reputation after someutenomsportslige episodes, says Pehzman Pars.
It had blown around Sosha Makani ahead of "SpongeBob-epiosden" as well. In January was football goalkeeper arrested after someone took pictures and filmed him while he danced with two Iranian women who wore the hijab. Which disputes withIranian law.

-There are many Iranian football players who have posted picture of a lot worse things than he's done and gotten away with it, but has become a Sosha Makani targetfor the Iranian League. I understand that he wants to get away from Iran, for he has many enemies there, says Pars.

            Can sign him for free

To new Smyrna Beach has told that Sosha Makani ban now is revoked, but it could not affect the bruntrøyenes decision.

-He's without a contract now, and we have the opportunity to sign him for free. It is very nice and nice guy, which is probably also a very good keeper. In Iran, he is really a star. It's a bit other conditions than we are aware of. The only question is how it will work in Norwegian football, "said Kenneth w. Karlsen, sports Chief in New Smyrna Beach.

To prevent violence at the European Championships: the great ølbløffen
Norway-the Club have the opportunity to extend the trial game with one week.

-We're going to see some matches on video and have a new round, and so we have to make a decision Sunday, says coach Paul Hansen.

One of the main reasons that the goalkeeper would like to overseas, that he will back on the national team. Pehzman Pars think Sosha Makani can assert themselveswell in the Norwegian 1. Division, but has not specifically the belief that games in Moscow will make him eligible for the national team.

MAKANI is okay, but he does keeper part bloopers. He gets a more professional mentality, he may be eligible for the national team of the qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup, but then he should play at a higher level than the Norwegian 1. Division, believes Pehzman Pars.

PS! Persepolis play their matches at the Azadi Stadium, which holds 95.225 spectators on match days.

Speaking of Pouraliganji, anyone know where he's off to? His contact with Al-sadd should be over now. Is he renewing with them?

The problem isn't necessarily the players who establish false rumors of European interest. Rather, it's our own naive fans that fall for them. Then again, there's also the notion of us actually believing that many of our players are of a European caliber. Historically trending, we're lucky to send one player to Europe per transfer season. More than that, we should be ecstatic. Now compare that low figure of 1-2 transfers with the number of players that allegedly have offers.

Players like Taremi, Alishah, Sharifi, Rezaeian, and others are not of European caliber. Any rumors which link such players to European leagues can be quashed as being false.

The only transfer which has genuinely shocked me in the last 10 years was Haghighi's transfer to Rubin Kazan.

How is taremi not European caliber? I'm pretty sure he'd be able to play in somewhere like Greece or turkey

The latest Iranian football transfers - 2016

Depends what is meant by "European caliber" of course, does it mean top 3-4 league?

As basically any player that makes it into TM is easily capable of playing (and shining) in secondary European leagues around 7-15th in Europe such as Russia/Turkey/Greece.

Here Taremi's case was most likely due to club and supporter pressure, as well as his own individual "khariat" and dumb decision-making. He would have transferred to a European team had he been in an Iranian team outside Persepolis and SS

Because in those leagues the refs aren't gonna call PKs for every Taremi dive.

Taremi is a good player by PGL standards but being European caliber - even in the second-tier - requires numerous secondary traits which our players don't possess. The most important of these traits is adaptability. Taremi - who will soon be 24 - is a player whose popularity has surged in the past two years. He's living in Tehran, surrounded by people he is comfortable with, and making his money.

I'd imagine that when a player goes to Europe, their long-term ambition is to play in a first-tier league. It's one thing to get signed by a newly promoted La Liga side; it's another thing to play for a mid-lower Turkish club at 24. Furthermore, given the foreign-player designations, the expectation of players not native to a certain country is that they perform above-average. So unless players like Taremi perform phenomenally, it's unlikely that they'll have much of an upward trajectory.

Say he plays in Turkey for two years. At 26, he is no longer an investment by tier-one sides. Instead, they want a refined product. When all these factors are considered, Iran becomes a much more stable option for these players.

In contrast, Jahanbakhsh, Ezatolahi, Mohammadi, and Azmoun are all young and have time to develop. Bar any major setbacks, they'll be miles ahead of Taremi by the time they reach 25-26.

Two exceptions are Hajsafi and Ansarifard. However, both were of an exceptional quality when they were in their teens. At ages 19-21, Ansarifard was a better forward in the league than Taremi at 24.

This just brought up another point.

In Iran, Taremi is playing for our equivalent of 'Real Madrid'. With the money that Persepolis invests, the expectation is that they'll have enough quality to overwhelm most opponents. More offense leads to greater opportunities which leads to more goals. It's harder to score goals left and right when you are playing for a small club and going up against much stronger clubs weekly.

You really are naive aren't you? Even Navad did a segment showing that Taremi DOES NOT DIVE for PKs, he just knows how to put his body position to get them. In his interview with Navad even Adel agrees that vast majority of Taremi's penalties are fair. And also this does not include the second half of the season where at least 6 penalties against him were not given. Just because he knows how to get penalties does not mean he dives. If he plays in Europe those penalties may not be given because the defenders ARE MORE EXPERIENCED and will not fall for Taremi's invitation to lunge in, but not because of referee or whatever.

Maybe most of our players are not quality for the 3/4 top leagues but the average IPL player should have no trouble getting onto a 23 man squad for a midtable Greek/Romanian team. Europe is huge. IPL is actually a stronger league than the Bosnian League for example. Are they all Champions League worthy teams we could play for? No. We've already shown that young kids of ours can compete in Russia, which out of the 54 European nations, has one of the stronger leagues.
