You really are naive aren't you? Even Navad did a segment showing that Taremi DOES NOT DIVE for PKs, he just knows how to put his body position to get them. In his interview with Navad even Adel agrees that vast majority of Taremi's penalties are fair. And also this does not include the second half of the season where at least 6 penalties against him were not given. Just because he knows how to get penalties does not mean he dives. If he plays in Europe those penalties may not be given because the defenders ARE MORE EXPERIENCED and will not fall for Taremi's invitation to lunge in, but not because of referee or whatever.

Any logic agent should include a clause in contract to let players to love in Europe in case of eventual transfer(with right transfer fee), this way it helps both sides, player and club.

The problem isn't necessarily the players who establish false rumors of European interest. Rather, it's our own naive fans that fall for them. Then again, there's also the notion of us actually believing that many of our players are of a European caliber. Historically trending, we're lucky to send one player to Europe per transfer season. More than that, we should be ecstatic. Now compare that low figure of 1-2 transfers with the number of players that allegedly have offers.
Players like Taremi, Alishah, Sharifi, Rezaeian, and others are not of European caliber. Any rumors which link such players to European leagues can be quashed as being false.
The only transfer which has genuinely shocked me in the last 10 years was Haghighi's transfer to Rubin Kazan.

I highly doubt that the players you mentioned are not in Europe because they don't meet the standards.

A player like Sharifi went on trial with an Austrian club, in a league which is barely to be considered competitive.

He finally didn't get signed because they found someone who fits better in their plan, not because he didn't impress. With the combination of visa issues, possible sarbazi stuff and tough game by Iranian clubs, transfers often fall through.

I can't stand it when players like Taremi do have offers, but end up lying about it and eventually stay in PP. With all the difficulties going on with Iranian players going to Europe, it's what frustrates me when Taremi rejects a pre-contract with PAOK because they didn't meet his salary demands. It hurts the guys who do want to go to Europe: Sharifi, Nariman Jahan, etc.

This lying thing is an ugly thing about our culture which needs to be dealt about with as soon as possible. I do not know a single country in the world where players / agents make up fake transfers to Europe. Frustration from fans here is a normal reaction. I don't blame any one for their reactions. I'm pissed off as hell, it's basically another PAG scenario. Lie to your fans - stay at some tokhmi team - make fake promises again and that cycle continues.

It baffles me that our team, ranked 38th in the world have to be positive because of one transfer to Dinamo Zagreb - that is even ''if'' it happens. It's okay though, I have accepted our fate. As for Taremi, he can stay in IPL for how long he wants. We will have to hope that some youngster will have the brains and guts to take a lowball Euro offer in the future.

Final thing, as much as I hate to draw this comparison...I think something is fundamentally wrong with the professional mentality of our players. War torn countries like Iraq have players in Turkey, and don't tell me that their players have more quality than ours. If a team like Iraq can have few players in Turkey, we can have at least few in France. But then again I guess it's all about mentality and professionalism. We're Team Melli and deserve better and shouldn't think lowly about our players quality, and I think we can criticize them for making wrong career choices that will hurt them and TM in long run.

Any player from countries like Uzbekistan would take an offer from second / third tier countries like Sweden, Norway and Czech Republic right away, that I can assure you. But the point is, they don't get as much as offers as our players get because scouts do see potential in our players who are rather money greedy and in love with PP or SS. For instance there was some guy Mosalman who had a legit offer from a Ligue 1 team but rejected it because he didn't want to live in Europe. This is coming from a reliable source whom I can't reveal because of private reasons.

What is your point? He was on Navad with for an interview, and him and Ferdosipour were reviewing all the penalties he drew and all of them (or almost all of them) were ones were he baited the defender into making an unnecessary challenge.

Do you mean Mohammadi? Sharifi never went on trial, he was offered to Rapid Vienna, but the club rejected him and signed a Croatian striker instead (who didn't impress btw.)

I think we're saying the same thing but you're phrasing it as an argument. The statement in bold summarizes it perfectly.

When the league is unprofessional, youth programs are unprofessional, club management is unprofessional, and Federation management is unprofessional, it's no surprise that the players too are mostly unprofessional. Look at the way these players run to Navad or instagram whenever a problem arises for them. Anyway, I'll follow up in a few hours. About to catch a flight to Tehran.
