With this move , our centre mids could be set for the next ten years . Karimi-ezzatolahi combo has strength, lots of running , height, ability to defend , ability to attack , good passing , and are both in Europe with respectable teams. All we need is to sort out the 10 position

It's official, Karimi signed a 5 year contract with Dinamo Zagreb. Can someone open a thread?

Seems like AK8 became assistant manager of Khooneh be Khooneh? That team is badly wanting the promotion

^^ This itself is fantastic news, shows how much foreign imports are improving when SNA can sign a player like that

Machine Sazi sign former Brazilian U20 defender Edson from Slaven Belupo in the Croatian top flight. He played for Botafogo in Brasilian Serie A and Rio Ave, Acedemica, Belenses and Uniao de Leiro in the Portuguese Primeira League.

To be honest, as much as I would like Alipour to see in Europe (he has huge potential and can even get better than Taremi since he is only 20), but Perspolis can't afford to lose all their strikers. If he can play an even better season, we can definitely see him in a decent European team in the age of 21.
You're right, I'm not as mad as my post may have seemed I just would have ideally liked to see Alipour sold the sooner they go to Europe the better they turn out, look at the quality difference between sardar, JB, and Ezzi compared to the rest. They just have a completely different mentality, which is developed in your earlier years of your career. As a Persepolisi though, I'm excited to have him for another year or two and I know he will be able to go to Europe at the young age of 21 or 22 if (hopefully) he is smart enough to do.

A guy more or less on the level of bengston....a physical presence up front who can finish and tire out defenders. Easily attainable with a 500K salary seeing how bengston got half of that, not sure what you think the good foreign strikers we've brought into our league have been getting paid but I can assure you it's not even 500K

Both fantastic signings, love how the quality of foreign imports have risen tremendously over the last couple of years. Sanat has made some great moves the last few weeks although omranzadeh has left, they still have made some great signings with Etemadi and this Nigerian dude seems promising. They need someone up front now to go along with motevaselzadeh. Machine Sazi will be a solid team too I predict!

A bit ironic that TM's greatest strength lies heavily on their defence, yet not one central defender plays in Europe.

Is there any hope with the current crop of centre-backs?

                      Hossein Kanaani (22 y.o)

                      Mohammad Daneshgar ( 22 y.o)

                      Mohammad Nejad Mehdi ( 23 y.o)

                      Roozbeh Cheshmi (22 y.o)

Are these guys (or any I've missed out) good enough?

I hope they sign more players like this so they can remain in Lige Bartar.

Daneshgar is not as good as I initially thought he makes tons of silly mistakes that CBs shouldn't make (silly/weak/risky passes, not physically dominant enough for someone his size, holds on to the ball a bit too long at times) but the good news is he is young, these kinds of mistakes usually get corrected with hard work and good coaching. Then again I viewed khanzadeh exactly in this way and he unfortunately has not progressed one tiny bit.

The other three are promising. Cheshmi by far the most IMO, he was linked with moves abroad but it didn't happen he wanted to stay in Esteghlal any way (if they were even true, not sure if it was BS or not but he commented on them a couple of times) the only one I would say that is seasoned enough and ready to be a TM starter, I'd even rate him above PAG tbh, much smarter than him on and off the ball and is equally as versatile. CQ needs to invite him ASAP but unfortunately he suffered a bad injury a few months back, hopefully he comes back hungrier and ready so we can see him in TM consistently.

Cheshmi said that he will stay at Esteghlal until they get their third star. So we can expect him to play there for the rest of his career and later on join the training staff.
