You know anyone in our league is capable of playing in Europe when Lak has offers from Swedish teams
In all fairness he improved well last 1-2 seasons, he was making shocking blunders few years ago. Granted I would not even put him in our top 5 keepers currently, but he has become more solid recently
There's no chance in hell Lak's offers (if true) are from the top division right now though - probably 2nd and/or 3rd tier. But like a lot of other Iranian talents if he had went abroad when he was younger he would most likely be able to play in a higher division than the Swedish top league. As mentioned with Jalal and Bundesliga for example.
A lot of our player have TALENT, but they lack professional development. So they just rely on their talent and don't necessarily have coaches and facilities that challenge and educate them enough to further their carreers. If they stay, they stagnate. It doesn't mean they get worse, just not reaching the potential they could have reached.
Saipa had some negotiations with two european clubs about Torabi but apparently they couldn't reach an agreement. Saipa's director says that they won't let Torabi join any other team this upcoming winter transfer window but if they decide to sell him to another club, they might do it next summer.
Also, If I understood correctly, Torabi's contract with Saipa will end in summer 2018 so lets hope Saipa will get acceptable offers from European clubs and let Torabi leave before the end of his contract.

Wow, I remember reading that he had a clause in his contract allowing him to go to Europe if he had offers. Did Saipa screw him somehow or is that just not true to begin with? Either way I'm not worried about him...with in the next year or so he will be in Europe he seems to have a lot of ambition and has a great attitude

Mohammadi had the same issue with Rah Ahan and moved in the next transfer window, I think there are some good chances that he moves this summer. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a Russian team again...

There is a notable difference though: Rah Ahan was badly in need of money when they sold Mohammadi to Terek whereas Saipa is one of the few Iranian clubs which isn't struggling financially, so they can afford to refuse european offers for Torabi, if the interested foreign clubs don't put enough money on the table to get him.

True, Rah Ahan got a good 300K Euro for Milad. For a team going down especially that's a great deal.
I still think Saipa will let him go this summer, since Iranian teams often wait until players contracts expire for some reason (therefore don't get any profits from them), and they will probably be glad to get 350-500K for Torabi regardless of their position financially since that's a good sum by IPL standards.
We just have to hope that Torabi rejects PP/SS offers even tho Saipa may accept them, and he will go to Europe comfortably if he's really willing to progress. If I had to predict I would say that he will definitely go to Europe this summer

Makes sense for both parties. European clubs don't usually buy young prospects in January, so I doubt any offer in the upcoming window would be concrete. Torabi would have better offers in the summer window, so it benefits him aswell.
If his contract runs in 2018, then it means that Saipa HAS to sell Torabi by the summer window, or else they give him up the following summer for free.
I think we can be reasonably confident that Torabi will be in a European team come the summer transfer window.
i know Torabi´s contract.
there is a big IF in his contract for the next 2 years.
If Saipa can pay him for 2017-2018 season 2,5 billion toman, he has to stay, unless he is a free agent and can transfer for free.
It will probably be either a Turkish or a Russian team or maybe a 2nd division team from Spain/Germany. Eredivisie , Greek and Swedish teams won't be able to afford him and other teams from top leagues don't give a sh!t (sadly) about our prospects ...
