There are many western Asian teams who have already won it since the formula exist, plus every team goes through a change during off summer. That is just an excuse.

You did not get what I said. Those teams that won the tournament come from leagues that are more professional than IPL. They go through good changes in off season and not destroy their team like most IPL teams. IPL teams are built for 1 year!! no long term plans, as soon as the season finishes, the team is reshuffled and sent out again.

most teams in professional teams built on the team they have and improve for next season, not by over hauling 8-9 players, managers, staff etc....

Akhbari had a weak game, issue on long target shots, just like vs Japan U-23 game and he was on fault for first goal as well. Not impressed by him.

Akhbari was very disappointing during the U23 game against Japan. I actually made a comment about that using YouTube snapshots after the game against Japan.

Edit: Here is the picture, this is the 3rd goal against our U23 team. As you can see Akhbari completely miscalculated his dive.

Akbari was very poor. It seems like he was an amateur.

The reason tractor lost was because of the horrible defense. They would let the opposition walk the ball in.

Poor defending and goalkeeping by TS. Very disappointing day by them.

Al Nasr had total of 5 strikes, converting 4 of them, while TS had much more scoring chances, while blundering almost all of them!

I am sure TS will win the return match, now by what goal margin is a big question mark as this team throughout the league and ACL adventure has proven to be one of the most inconsistent and shocking teams. It will not be impossible to scored over 3 goals and not concede any, if they work on their defense. Al Nasr I would say is the weakest round of 16 team.

- Al Nasr have lost all their ACL away games in Iran
- Al Nasr have never scored a goal in away games against Iranian team.

what a disastrous result for Teraktor. I was not expecting this after they breezed through the group stages. On the bright side Al Nasr is not a really good team and Teraktor can pull it off and win 3-0 in Tabriz but they will have to bring their A game offensively and defensively. Sepahan beat Al Nasr in fooladshahr 2-0 and they lost in UAE 2-0 but even away in UAE they were controlling the match for the majority of the game. Al Nasr scored from their few opportunites. It would suck to see this shitty Al Nasr team eliminate Teraktor.

Amateur coaching, amateur defending and goal keeping. Bakhtiar and Soroush had a very poor game. I don't know what GN had in mind to play like headless chicken, dude this is elimination game, defense was non-existence, 5-6 decent chances and 4 goals. Nong is your best forward and you play him 15 minutes? Saghebi is one of your best midfielder and has decent speed and he get what sometime like 2 minutes playing time, while both Soroush and Rahmani struggled today.
I blame this 110% on coach. At 1-2 you could still manage the result and play with more caution and bring some speedy players to probably score second on counter and have all HOPE to win 1-0 at home and close the case!
