I honestly dont think they got an official offer from Arsenal, plus at that time he couldnt have gone to EPL since he didnt really feature in TM games. This was before WC and Azmoun wasnt even invited to TM for the WC.

From what I recall, He was playing one of his first games for Rubin in Europe (early qualification round) when arsenal first made inquiry about his availability & the figure 2.5mil was thrown around back too...! Now whether Arsenal found the 2.5 mil price tag too high..? Or if Kazan didn't agree to let him leave,,? Is still questionable or still in doubt.
Shardar himself admitted to the Arsenal's interest in an interview ..!
The only other legit interest for his services was from Inter Milan offer, early on ..! But Kurban convinced him to join Rubin instead.
There were many other bs , made up link-ups , even one from Barcelona or more recently the Benefica but Sardar denied all the rest ..,!

Yea, Fifa had told Rostv and Rubin officials to get together on July 12th? To hash out their differences ...!

I hope the parties found some common ground & Rubin come to their senses & let Sardar make his move back to Rostov. He doesn't want to stay in Rubin , n he couldn't have made his desire to leave more clear than that.

Russian Football federation has sided with Rubin Kazan According to 90. Sardar's Laywer filed a complaint with FIFA due to the loan contract that was signed between Rostov and rubin. Apparently there was a clause that said Rostov can buy Sardar for 2.5 mil at the end of the Loan period and his lawyer is using that as evidence. He also said that Sardar is a foreigner and RFF is not being fair!
