I love the fact that we won with a good margin, however what bothers me is how CQ (with all respect to his knowledge, CV and abilities) puts us down in front of all the world soccer audience and pretend that Iran is a backward soccer nation that played against Europeans and learned much. I am not the only one who is in AWWWW of such attitude. lol it's just the English sense of humour (banter) and betting sites are notorious for their banter, trust me no one gets away with anything and many england players are taken the piss out off by them.

btw we've actually got some exposure for once. I saw a few posters talking about that friendly and Azmoun's game on the Man United forum.

Regarding Rezaeian, I agree plenty of his crosses are stupid and defensively he is not consistent as well - overall Vouria Ghafouri remains the #1. However there is a reason why both Branko and CQ constantly make use of Rezaeien: he is a real working horse and his stamina is above PGL level running like 10/11 km each game. Furthermore he can be a solid offensive force and scores more goals than any other RB we have.

Taremi once again showed why it is so important for him to move to Europe. He has everything, just needs to learn to keep his calm in front of the goal. See how Azmoun's finishing is drastically improving, few months ago some were claiming he is not a true goal scorer lol - Taremi will end up like Borhani if he stays in Iran for a longer times.

I still think it’s a shame to see Cashkan wearing the Captain armband of the national team, I miss Nekounam! - the dude has no leadership/class and is not a good role model for the youngsters anyway. Pejman Montazeri or Ehsan Hajsafi deserved it much more! And overall Seyed has been a joke compared to what he used to be, but for some reasons people refuse to criticize him. The postion that makes me worry the most is LB. Sorry, I have no clue why CQ keeps starting with Hajsafi - he wil never be a defender and we don't have much time left to test our other options! Hajsafi should replace Amiri up front, let's stop wasting his true talent as it is so damn frustrating!

Macedonia played Qatar once in 2009 and beat them 2-1.

Macedonia would beat Syria and China and definitely compete 50/50 with Qatar/Uzbekistan. The whole point of this friendly is to learn. I think we learned a few ways to attack versus Uzbekistan as a result. Uzbekistan is a level better in my opinion,but they play similar football.

We also reaffirm that Hajsafi cannot play LB. We need to either find a LB and put him as LM or keep Mohammadi at LM(his pace is great) and use Hajsafi as a deep lying playmaker.
