i really hope Ansarifard gets on the board and hopefully early and dare i say often? in this game ..!!

kid has worked and sacrificed long and hard for this Start, and he is so desperate for a goal to boost his confidence and put his international career back on track ..!
since his Euro move, he has improved a lot in his positioning and off the ball movement and i especially admire his new, far more aggressive approach in our attack..!!

dont know anything of Tayebi..? tough first cap..!! but he does have well-experienced Hossaini who's a rock defensively to help breaking him in..!

since i dont watch IPL, dont know much about Pourghaz either..! but i was very impressed by his little cameo late last game, hopefully he will carry on the good work into this game..! how old is he now..?

Torabi will likely go to Left wing..? i love this guy, and think he should be a frequent starter..! Him and Mohamadi gonna be a handful for Kyrg to deal with..! so glad Ehsan is left out finally...

woulda preferred Massoud brought off the bench than Starting..!! he is still our best attacking mid, but as always very slow and weak defensively and now with his legs aging and gone, his work-rate leaves much to be desired..!

Taremi should do ok in RW..? but to line him up on that wing along with the unknown form N fitness, long absentee Mahini seems a risky move..???

Danial Mahini was never an absentee, it's his first TM call-up. Not to be mistaken with Hossein Mahini.

Btw. Taremi and Mahini were teammates in Iranjavan, so they know each other well enough.

Good call. The only change is Ezzatolahi will start instead of Kamyabinia. I wonder why he didn't get the start?

It's actually pourghaz instead of kamyabinia which is weird bc CQ has 2 CBs in the starting lineup. I guess either pourghaz or Tayebi will be playing as a DM

My mistake. Failed to see Saeid in the lineup at first. Im puzzled too because I wasn't under the impression that Pourghaz or Tayebi can play higher up the field but then again it won't be the first time CQ has moved players away from their natural position. Example. M.Zare and Beikzadeh both have featured as CB fro TM when no one had seen them play those positions prior to that.

oh ok, i remember reading some good things about him by St. Mark..!!
why the Duh-Ni-yall name then..?? was he born outside of the country, i assume..!!? and is RB his usual playing position..?
the important thing is that he is very young, promising talent and plays in somewhat shallow-depthed RB/RW position ...?

didnt pourghaz get a sub in late last game ?? or am i trippin..
i thought i heard our goozoo announcer say it in the game commentary during one of those late game subs..???
wait a min, i think i may have just answered my own question...!! lol
