Ansarifard had a great little yekdo assist on that breakaway with Taremi that mehdi missed, otherwise he was disappointing once again..!! i hope he is left on for 2nd half and gets another chance to get a goal and that monkey off his back..!!

Granted that the opposition is not strong, but when was the last time you saw a second string TM side showed high Pitch Play, high Pace and high Press- milad done so well claiming the Left Back position.
Strikers order- Sardar, Taremi- Ansarifard, Sardar is so far ahead of these two.sigpic

Fantastic opportunity for iranian football which was lost, even u23 or if we could sent Sanat naft abadan it would be a win win situation for our football

Can't judge the likes of Tayebi, Mohammadi and Mahini properly in a game like this, they literally haven't been tested defensively. Mohammadi in particular looks very impressive in a dynamic attacking sense but I presume he has problems with the defensive side of his game which will need to be ironed out before we start thinking about him as a first-choice.

Kyrkizistan is proving to be quite weak. They arent putting any pressure on our last 5-6 players for us to have an idea of how they'd react.
In defense also they are very unorganized and amateurish. bascally this is almost a practice session for TM. we are running riot down their flanks and only due to extremely wasteful and rushed shooting that we havent scored 6-7 goals by now.
shojaei has brought his old (and I mean dating as far back as 4-5 years ago) passing, which means less turnovers compared to his recent 3 years. But his legs are as slow as ever and it's showing how he is always a couple of second slow to reach the ball or to pass at the right moment or ... etc. Time to hang up your boots, old chap. There are plenty of far more energetic and hungry youngsters who can do what you do, just as well ... if not better.
a lot of our moves are basically lobs from defense to the wingers. Now, I'd be the last person to criticize wing play as I am a proponrnt of it. But it cant be the only tactic to go forward. The few times we have actually tried to "build up" progressively from def to midfield to forward line, they've been very inorganized and unccordinated to give the impression these build ups are not worked on ... enough, perhaps. We should work on these more to have options and varying tactics moving forward.
we rely too much on the "kick up and hope Mohamadi gets it" move.
Taromi while showing great energy and hunger, still suffers due to lack of intelligence.
Ansarifard has really built an impressive physique to be a real threat. But he still doesnt perform as he should. I dont know what ails him. By now he should be quite comfortable in this post and be producing far more than this. I'm afraid he is running out of time to make a stake for TM.
I wish the opponents were stronger so we could have a good idea how our reserves hold up against decent pressure. lets hope we get better opponents next time.

Kyrg are relying too much on offside trap to defend and cope with our relentless attacking..!! sooner or later they will get the offside trap timing wrong and will be punished dearly for it...!!
thought a couple of those offside calls were suspect...!!? one woulda been a sure goal..
