Gotta love CQ, during his 5 years of coaching TM he barely wore tie, he didn't even wear a tie during WC2014 in Brazil, however ever since his dispute with the authorities, he has constantly been wearing a tie in every single match.

Absolutely a dahan kaji to those goosaale. On the other hand, what a shameful act by the IRIB trying its best not showing his tie. For God's sake the man isn't even Iranian, why would you even try censoring it??? Who remembers Ali Karimi's best Asian player award ceremony? the Iranian newspapers photoshopped his pictures, removing his tie, replacing it with a tie-less shirt, and what a crappy photoshop it was.

There was a time not long ago when we were scared to draw/loss vs. teams like Lebanon, Bahrain and Turkmenistan all teams that are ranked lower than Krgys. This was a really emotional game to finally see TM so strong and assertive (with our semi-B Team).

Everyone in the team player was amazing. I think that the best part was to see Mahini, Tayyibi do such an amazing job on their first game.

Wtf I was just checking Esteghlal's Instagram page, they posted about the result of the TM game.

The comments are disgusting. Our country has won and Perspolis and Esteghlal fans are insulting eachother because of the 6-0 result..ffs this is a NATIONAL TEAM game!

Mohammadi and Mahini were great. Shojaei and Jahanbakhsh played well. Taremi and Ansarifard were mediocre.

I have tried so many times to watch and analyze what he brings to the table, and its NOTHING.
He either gets a lucky goal or stands in front of the net like hes Inzaghi (but the difference is that he cant finish lol)

While someone like Taremi misses chances but is very involved in the play

I'm sorry then you must not watch a lot of football if you can't see the crystal clear things Karim does well. He presses and runs better than pretty much any Iranian player we have aside from Mohammadi and Taremi. He came up with several steals as a result of that. His pace up front allows the game to be played at the very high speed we saw today. His finishing obviously needs work but because he lacks in one area it does not make him a bad player at all. Yes the primary job of a striker is to score but everyone misses chances, when Karim misses all of a sudden he's an exception and sucks. He does every all of his other duties well. If you bring a guy like him on in the second half when the oppositions legs are tired his speed and agility will make you pay, hence the reason he has scored 3-4 goals in Greece coming off the bench.

Its a shame TM doesn't have a game for another 3 months!

If I'm not mistaken we have another camp in Armenia coming up? Also I think we have one more in July, someone plz correct me if I'm wrong but I coulda sworn I read this news somewhere in the TM thread

To me Karim is the poor man version of Harry Kane. He can hold up the ball find team mates and look for that shot at the right time. He is the best Target Man we have right now.

his hustle only goes so far, you dnt field a player because he runs alot

anyway dont tell me i dont watch the sport enough lool ive seen fanboys throughout my life (messi vs. ronaldo etc.) and ive learned that when someone likes a certain player, there is no point arguing with them so have a good day
