CQ might have been at stadium for this game

      Article from Peterborough United fansite:

"The player we`d like to see receive the captains armband though is central defender Ryan Tafazolli. Taf has been excellent this season and has made the step up from League Two with ease and is one of the players of the season so far. Is the time right for Taf to take over the captains armband?"

He just signed with Peterborough this season and he is already the most important player of the team, but if he really wants to challenge himself he should take any offer from a Championship club.

Had a brief chat with Ryan earlier today - said he was not aware of CQ being in England so take it for what you will. Could've easily been avoiding telling me the truth but I kinda believe him. Still eager/hungry to get that chance though he definitely wants it.

Peterborough United lose vital match away to Milwall 1:0. Their next match will be against Bradford City.

"Millwall had more possession, but their tempo was slow and all high balls into the Posh penalty area were well dealt with by Ryan Tafazolli, Bostwick and Andrew Hughes.

Posh now head to another play-off contender Bradford City, five points outside the top six with games running out."

Tafazolli got a 7/10, apparently he activated his beast mode yesterday.

Tafazolli once again with a 7/10. Looks like he's been very consistent recently with his performances. The great thing about him is, even when his team lose, he still manages to play a solid overall game, which is the reason why I think a Championship should and probably will buy him in the summer. I'm just not sure that he'll receive that Iran call up this time around, not that he's bad, but Querioz is happy with his defence at the moment and they've played really well against South Korea and Uzbekistan. I hope he does though, he could be a really great asset to this already strong defence and would make that left side with Milad Mohammadi very solid.

6.5/10 for him today. Highest rating in his team (along with the goalkeeper McGee) despite his team losing. It's a shame his team aren't doing well anymore. Peterborough are actually a decent side on paper, just haven't had a good second half of the season. Hope Tafa finds a new club in the summer.

No Tafazolli in the squad for todays Peterborough game against Oldham. Looks like he picked up an injury this week.

good season for him regardless of where posh end up. But if he is to be considered for TM the reality is he will need to move to championship at least. There are iranian defenders in PGPL who dont get called up for TM that would dominate in third division of england as well.

Ryan will miss Peterborough's match against Charlton due to minor groin injury:

"Central defender Ryan Tafazolli has been ruled out of Saturday’s (April 1) League One game against Charlton at the ABAX Stadium because of a groin injury. Tafazolli has missed the last two Posh matches. He is due to see a specialist today (March 29) and it’s hoped he will return to training early next week.

"Central defender Ryan Tafazolli will be absent again because of a groin strain, but on-loan West Ham midfielder Martin Samuelsen could return to the squad after a break for international duty."

Centre-back Ryan Tafazolli should be back in the Posh squad at Coventry

"Posh centre-back Ryan Tafazolli resumed training today and is expected to return to the first-team squad for Saturday’s (April 8) League One match at rock-bottom Coventry. He might not get back into the side though as Posh have kept clean sheets in both games that he missed with a groin/hamstring problem. Scan results yesterday gave Tafazolli the all-clear."
