Hahaha everyone knows the women will be drooling over him fs. He better be good though. We've spent a lot of effort researching him. League 1 games are barely broadcast. I trust Querioz's judgement though.

Even if his skills might not be enough for TM his stamina would never ever be a problem for him. Playing 46 league matches plus a lot of cup matches is a really tough thing to do. IMO we should definitely test him in friendly matches.

I dont think the issue with this guy in TM is skill based honestly. He is at least the level or around the level of a guy like Ansari and probably has the skills to be a 4th choice CB. However, I think the communication barrier is key. In an attacking position this is not as much of an issue, but CB or GK the players must be in constant communication to deal with opposition threats, organize for set pieces, play offside trap, cover for defenders that move up, etc. If he cant speak farsi well that will be a huge issue. We saw with a guy like Gabriel at Arsenal who truly was a great defender, was not able to succeed and consistently start and was eventually sold to valencia due to not being able to communicate with defensive colleagues well enough on the pitch
