Khosrow Heidari is back but I am sure he'll be one the first to be cut.

Is Pouladi never returning to Team Melli or something?

        Is he out of form?

Pouladi "dodged" sarbazi after being allowed to play in the Asian Cup by never taking the flight back to Iran. He is never going to be allowed in the team again by IFF.

meh Beykzadeh can be dropped now, for all i care, may be even Khosro? but i suppose we are in need of more depth in RB and LB position and their high level of experience gives them some outside chance of making the later trimmed down squad .?

some new names there i havent a clue of..!!? lets hope they pleasantly surprise me with their impactful first caps the way, Mahini and Pourghaz did in recent friendlies..!! even Tayebi did ok..!! but i believe we are going to see much more of the former duo in future TM..!!
How old is Pourghaz..? i was especially impressed by how quickly he adapted himself to CQ's somewhat difficult to grasp, strict playing tactics, and how lively and effective he proved himself further up the pitch as a supposed former defender..!!

Heydari is the type of player every coach loves. A versatile player who can play at different positions. He can play the whole right flank if necessary and even in the middle of the field in worst case scenario like he did a couple of times in Esteghlal where he actually did a very good job, something no-one thought he could do.

The fact that he's always around in CQ's squads (although now it's not a final list yet), even this time despite having been out and injured for practically the entire season, says a lot about CQ's trust in him.

At the end of the day it's the coach who decides to pick him. No-one put a gun to CQ's head and forced him to call Heydari up! Let's not burn the player for being available for his country and doing his best everytime he's on the pitch and not making a scene when he's put on the bench!
Persian Pride running through my veins!

                          Esteghlal for life!!

He's simply not TM material. He never was, despite being a versatile player. His crosses are useless, and his presence on the field doesn't bring anything special.
