Just thought I'd share a cool link that has some closeups pics of Iran's 1978 world cup kit worn against Scotland. The crest looks awesome and for those who can't read Farsi, the image with the tricolor is the letter F with the monochrome football above it acting as the dot to form an "ف". Quite creative compared to the current crappy crest.

i had the wc 06 iran cleats...! adidas made a special edition Iran Cleat for our wc 2006 team.
they did that for all the participating countries actually...!!
it was a pieced together cleat set, where you could pick out you chosen Upper, Outsole and Cleat type and piece it together to your liking...!! then they made the Upper Pieces for all the WC 06 Countries
pretty expensive by the time you put all the needed pieces together so it never did retail too well..!
