CQ simply asked the clubs to give rest to Team Melli players who weren't able to rest of the league was over. Once the league was over a lot of players were called up immediately for TM's camp and they played 2 friendly games so in order for the players to be safe and not get injured his asked the clubs to let those players rest. What he suggested was for the best interest of players, clubs and TM.
Remember when Khosrow was tired and CQ asked GN to give rest to his players and GN didn't? Khosrow ended up getting injured. Players had a tough season and their muscles are fatigue so it's normal for a coach to ask his players to get some rest.
Thanks, but could anyone also tell me what Karimi said? And what is up with CQ asking for apologies etc?
Dear distinguished colleague Mr. Branko,
As You know we met a couple of times and I must emphasize that despite your surprising but also unfair and non ethical comments about me, despite those abusing and malicious comments you did inside the Federation facilities with the support and cooperation of one top Federation employee, Dr. Haratian, until today I steel have the same opinion about you. For the moment I still don't see any reason to change my personal feeling.
However, you know, and everybody knows, you made a huge mistake against Team Melli interests and the new Federation President, and at the end you totally damaged my professional image in one unfair and malicious way.
I know, some important people in Iran knows, and we are aware of what is going on behind the scenes. Lot of people knows how and who prepared this trap for you; who the day before called the Press to be there when you attended IFMARC; and who prepared the Photos with IFMARC behind.
Dear Mr. Branko I know, we know everything and more then you. But you know who lied to you, who manipulate your mind and use your words to attack Carlos Queiroz. But you have been mislead in this process. You used my name but in fact you attacked Mr. Taj, the new President, you attacked Team Melli, you attacked The Board of Federation and League. Do you really believe this affect me or my professional career? No. You jeopardize and you blow up Iran World Cup preparation, not Carlos Queiroz National Team preparation.
Dear Mr. Branko. It is not enough to come out and tell us that you came from a good family education and that you are part of school of values. Mr. Branko, you must be brave, humble and courageous to show and stand behind those principles and values. If you don't do it you are a nobody as all the others that do not had the opportunity to be educated with principles and values. Do not hide your arm behind Persepolis fans because they deserve better.
Dear collegue Branko, show you are a real Man. What is a man with principles and values but not brave and courage enough to be humble and come out and apologize? Dear colleague, our school of values is expecting more and better from you.
The day after you apologize, life will get normal again. You will try your best in order to win, and I will try my best to win and to serve Iran Football and this fantastic fans.
Looking forward for your sincere apologies,
Carlos Queiroz

I have always been a CQ fan but he is going too far. He is causing turmoil in TM and this is not good for us. He needs to cool down and let his play and result speak and just ignore others.
When everything you have in the supposed IFF, is pure GARBAGE, you don't question your master and just kiss his hand and listen to everything he has to say, until you have the ability or curious/smart enough, and really want to take out the garbage!!!
How/where in the world do you just cancel everything at the last moment at the whim of the same garbage characters that have never been anything but a $%&@!!
I have always been a perspolisi and very respectful of Karimi, but if he has really said these things shame on him for joining the wrong crowd. Idiot is, idiot does! He could have been one of the best footballers of all time, now we wonder why that didn't happen!
CQ is the King!!! He is the only reason we have a tiny bit of credibility in the football world, period.
An insult to the professor is an insult to 40 million fans
Dear "fans", Please stop embarrassing our club.
Pleaseeee, cut the nonsense! I have been a perspolis Much longer than you, but Ghermez is nothing when compared to Green|White|& RED, NOTHING!!!! Supported by 80 MILLION all over the world!
Thanks, but could anyone also tell me what Karimi said? And what is up with CQ asking for apologies etc?
Karimi responded to the below post of CQ and asked him to be brave and name those who are snakes.
"Dear Friends,
It is proper of Human Nature and it is above any culture, religion or color of skin; it doesn't matter if you are white, yellow, black or red. When you are surrounded by "Eagles" you can fly; when you walk with "Wolves" you start to howl; when you leave and sleep with "Snakes" you start to crawl and you only spit out poison. From now on, unfortunately, I can predict and announce the name of The Game: "Winds of Havoc". As always, I have been trying to do my very best and trying to implement what I honest believe it is right for Team Melli. This should not be about CQ National Team. This should be all about Iran National Team interests and priorities. But once again unfortunately it is not the case. And because once again those who should don't care, I want to make clear to them: you can have my respect but, from now on, you will also have my "indifference"."
CQ is and has always been A person that does not take shit from anyone and I wil support him wholeheartedly but his enemies have realized that it's not difficult to rattle his cage. He should ignore few idiots and become more selective.
Unfortunately we are facing a weak federation. They sent a letter to the clubs telling them about what they should follow with TM players and TM prep camps and they should have stood by that letter, Instead CQ picked up the tab and got targeted.
The only things scaring me about this situation aside from the obvious side effects of hashiyeh is the dent this is putting in CQ's popularity. Maybe I'm reading too much into this but Queiroz seems to be losing a lot of support.....I know that the people are attacking him do not represent all persepolis fans of course but it seems to be a pretty decent size group and with the field day the media ia having with this and additionally adding as much drama to it as they can, I fear that with a foreign and popular coach like branko it might give the anti-CQ camp some leverage it has never had before.

Those people who are attacking CQ's facebook page are the very same bikar people who attacked Messi & Lima's page. Just a bunch of rude idiots who have nothing better else to do. Do they represent all of us? absolutely not.
As i said before, this time CQ picked wrong target, Branko is not Mayeli, Asadi, Haratian, Torabian, Kafashian, GN and few others. He is very popular among fans, specially Persepolis ones..

As for Ali Karimi and his recent nonsense, go to 22:30 and watch, with special attention to what he says at the 23rd minute
He praises CQ, while simultaneously taking a thinly veiled dig at his previous TM headcoaches (presumably br-AN-G0H, among others). He specifically says that if coaches at CQ's level were appointed as TM headcoach when he was a younger player, he would have progressed further and that the younger players should appreciate the opportunity to work with such a coach.
While the footage was taken four years ago, I think it more accurately represents Karimi's true beliefs than his recent zer zadan. As AminG mentioned in the TM News thread, Karimi developed a problem with CQ when after abandoning the team just before the Asian Cup, everyone continued to resolutely stand behind CQ, causing a drop in Karimi's popularity.
Lol, I wish he would have realized that he can't credibly criticize CQ for "not being courageous", while taking the side of the same crook that was too chicken to return to Iran in 2006

Nothing to worry about man. Just like last year when it was EsEs fans against CQ and PP fans for him, this year it will be the reverse. With Mansourian at the helm, SS fans will be loving CQ as well. They obviously don't have brains of their own (at least this time it benefits TM), but they will go with what the coach says. PP fans on the other hand (also with no brains), will go against him.
My prediction is that the number of PP players in TM drops (Rezaeian is free agent and probably leaving, Taremi is leaving), and the EsEs players start making a case for themselves (Ghafouri back in form, Afshin can get back to form, Bakhtiar is free to join TM now, etc..).
Ya Ali Mansourian! Vatanparasteh kamel

That's been one of Karimi's problems his whole career. Refusal to accept responsibility. It is not the national team manager's job to progress his career. That was up to him and he made that decision late in life. He could have gone to Europe in his early 20s and he didn't. Instead he liked wasting time in Dubai. He should be taking managing courses now, but instead he's wasting time, getting involved in petty arguments against people who can beat him in that game.

then more and more PP fans and veterans shd come forward to support their NATIONAL TEAM.
Are they? how many? how often?
this over-indulgence of clubs to the point of weakening the nationa team is like poison that has spread all around by the media. But within the club (including its fans, veterans, ... ) also have become so irrational and dogmatic to forego logic and solely stick to "club loyalties" over everything else!!
that hypocritical wimp boy, when he was the TM coach (to our great ill-fortune) was crying and whining about not having his squad whenever he wanted. now he's saying such garbage? I knew this wimp was trouble then, and he is trouble now.
