most dutch clubs utilize the 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 formations, with great emphasis on wing plays (you could say they love their wings. giving new meaning to the "flying dutchman" term) ... so most probably he would be one of the strikers. being used as a winger would be less of a probability.
But this is a competitive club and he still has his work cut out for him. lets hope he sheds the Persian gulf laziness syndrome asap

not sure about his current fitness after his recent injury at TM camp??? but prior to that he had already shaken off the ayrab-rust for most part and was in pretty damn good form n fitness..!!
I dont think the latest injury was a big deal either..?? it was more case of him saving his legs for his wedding and subsequent move outa charlton..!! he pulled the same scam in the run up to the WC at Charlton ..!
it will take him a couple of months into the new season to fine tune his timing and chemistry with new team .... but i think he will be firing on all cylinders after that...!?
