Reza came back to defense in Iran Argentina game. About Ashkan I think he is still the best player in TM and want him to play somewhere in midfield. Maybe Saeed i can't say but Gucci Azmoun and JB can be adapted to each other better than if for instance Taremi is playing instead of one of them. Karim is not so good as the other

. If ashkan gets himself to a good Euro team in January and is playing regularly he should start at CAM and Saeid and Haj at DM. I think we should try gucci left wing, he will be more effective than amiri, taremi, and given his form deserves to start. Going forward those three, and an inform dejagah will be speedy and dangerous up top, and will cause most teams problems. Plus, if dejagah goes to europe, that will mean we will have 6 players in starting xi as legionnairres, and Hajsafi, who I still count as a legionnaire basically, and a few of the back line from IPL, which is actually good for chemistry back there, so the balance is right. Plus Shojaei and Ansarifard that will put us to 8 euro players plus EH, so 9. Finally we even have Karimi in europe, who has started to feature for dinamo first team. If torabi and a couple other youngsters go to europe, that will basically be perfect

Honestly I wanted to stay quiet on this matter, however I can't just be quiet no more. I still don't freaking understand why CQ keeps playing average players fix while he has a such a massive player like GUCCI?!!!

My son is 7 years old and anytime he sees Gucci on the bench, he cries. Even he knows that! Honestly I blame CQ a bit for our tie against the Syrians! A game that can cost us the qualification.

Can someone tell me or start a thread; why when there is likes of Gucci; CQ played Taremi or some other average players? Don't take me wrong I love Persepolis and its goal scorer. I'm a persepolisi but come on Gucci vs. Taremi? It's not a brainer. I understand our formation? Couldn't we play a bit braver and ho back to our 4-4-2 default squad against the minnows?

I'm upset that one of the best goal scorers that we have, is not being used effectively and efficiently; a good player whose sent us to the World Cup 2014 and he was the scorer of our lone goal there. I don't understand. Is it because of his looks or someone is intimated of his might?

Taremi is played as a winger for TM, Gucci is only effective as striker so his direct competition is Azmoun and Ansarifard. Although I was not in favor of Taremi starting the last couple of matches because of his current form with Persepolis, when he's on he can also be a quite dangerous player for any Asian team.

If we want both Azmoun and Gucci play, we'll need to play a 4-4-2 which we know is not going to happen

First of all CQ has been very consistent with his 4-3-3 and 4-5-1 formation.

Second; CQ is known as a defensive coach. Expecting him to play offensive soccer is exactly the opposite of who he is.

Third; Gucci doesn't meet the criteria for a target striker that a 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 tactic requires.

Fourth; no player on our team is average, especially Azmoun who far exceed Gucci in most aspects as a striker.


I've explained this before, but CQ is a mastermind in deciding what tactics to utilize. I would trust him more than your 7 year old son.
