Yes maybe Kiarash or other dutch members can briefly explain why Herenveen is in the playoffs.

They finished 9th. Usually it only goes up to 8th place in the case that one of 4-7 spot has won the cup.

Herenveen is 9th and in the playoffs (although equal points with 8th place).

FC Twente who are in teh playoff spots is not in the playoffs for some reason (as well as Vitesse who won the cup of course).

Looks like he has been victimized for Heerenveen's bad recent results and their stand in striker Veerman started and didn't score...but it doesn't really matter, since they lost to Utrecht 1-3 tonight. It was clear they would never going to win against Utrecht...
