no it doesn't - its moronic, if Lig Bartar had such a system you guys would all be complaining, saying how aghab oftadeh we are
how can you score 22 goals that season but it says that you scored 20 on the topscorers list
the season itself is over and done for! In the 34 games ALL teams participate and all strikers can become topscorer!
This is the main reason that play/off goals doesn't count for the Eredivisie topscorer ; it is a playoff between a few mid table teams.
In theory - if the goals did count - , you will have more chance to become Eredivisie topscorer with a midtable team, than with a top 3 team ; would that make any sense?
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better. O.Gfrom '97 & still here
"The second half of the season had to Reza Ghoochannejhad two faces. The striker from Heerenveen scored like crazy, but his sporting club went through a deep valley. Coach Jurgen Streppel agrees that attracting Ghoochannejhad at least it was a good move. A year ago, the Iranian arrived on a free transfer to Friesland.
"When you see how it has worked out, you can say that this was a golden opportunity," Streppel indicates at FOX Sports . Self Ghoochannejhad had no doubt about that. "I do not want to sound arrogant, but I knew I could," says the 29-year-old international.
At the beginning of the season Heerenveen and Ghoochannejhad determined the personal goals of the attacker. "My goal was that I would be involved with twenty goals," said Ghoochannejhad, who was nineteen gave in the regular season and three assists. "I personally saw can therefore be satisfied. I had expected.""
The season for SC Heerenveen ended disappointingly, but not everything was negative last season with the Frisians. Thus attracting striker Reza Ghoochannejhad proved a golden set, he scored in his first season as many as nineteen goals. He has not surprised himself.
So says the attacker talks with FOX Sports . "I do not want to sound arrogant, but I knew I could. We were at the beginning of the season, in addition to the objectives of the team, individual goals. My goal was to be involved with twenty goals" states, Iranian, who also kept three assists. "Personally speaking I can be so happy."
Even coach Jurgen Streppel is happy with his striker. "When you see how it has worked out, you can say that this was a golden opportunity", the coach. "
how long did he sign for Heerveen last year ??
wasnt it just a year..? possibly with extension clause based on performance.?
you'd think they have to up his salary for upcoming season..!

Hey Dutch members - what are the chances a team like Ajax, Feyenoord, or PSV will scoop him? He proved to be one of the best, if not the best striker in the eredivise it would only make sense that one of those teams would at least show some interest. He's peaking now at 29 so it would make sense for him to have a shot at playing for a bigger club. The only reason I think it is unlikely is because I know Dutch teams have an obsession with young players. I think he has clearly earned it and would do just as good, if not better in a bigger club

"I will never be able to say good bye to Iran. I have a feeling of belonging to this country and to the people." - Carlos Queiroz
I hope he stays in Holland, or if he moves, its to Spain or Italy. Belgium and England didn't seem to be good fits for him (also his playing style is great for Holland and Spain)

He could be bought as 2nd striker but it's very unlikely that he will go because he is a star at Heerenveen with 20 goals and he wouldn't trade that for benching all season long and playing some games.
